Planeswalker?

Looks like Ajani Goldmane to me! That's very cool!

Does the fact that the art only seems to be in non-planeswalker form mean it can't be a planeswalker? I think it would be awesome of they gave out a special foil planeswalker, or at lest a mythic rare.

So the prerelease card is Ajani... Nice to know. However, imho, the art certainly looks like it fits a regular creature frame.

I don't know... the pre-release card for Lorwyn wasn't a walker, was it? Smells more like a Legendary Creature to me. And geez, how many arts for Ajanni / Ajanni's brother / Ajanni-people are we going to get?

*Note - sarcasm above - I believe all of the arts we have gotten are for Ajanni, and Ajanni only.

I really don't want to get any more ''planeswalkers before/after they were 'walkers.'' I never liked the flavor of Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir.

And I'm tired of hearing people saying the opposite. Personally I could care less at this point whether its a walker or a legend, what matters is if the cards will be playable or not.

The art for this iteration of Ajani Vengeant and the previously seen one are clearly not tailored for a Planeswalker frame. This is pretty obviously a Legendary creature.

did everyone forget that there's a whole race of cat people in naya? not every single catperson is ajani. that said, since it's alternate art, it could very well be ajani vengeant, and would certainly imply GW Gold from the art.

edit: after seeing the card, I fail. hard.

Very interesting...definitely isn't a planeswalker. Not sure if that's Ajani. I'd bet it isn't based on the Ultrapro product pics we got a while back.

Almost all cards they print at this point are 'playable.'

What you mean is you hope someone will make a popular deck with it in it so you can copy it.

And so it will be worth $$$
