But 2 has been the cost for "Draw 2" and has been the cost for gain 3...

It may be possible at uncommon.

However, gaining life is weaker than losing life.

W: You gain three life. That's fine.
B: Target player loses three life. That's powerful.

In drawing cards it's the opposite. Making your opponent discard is often cheaper than drawing them.
So the card may be balanced if it has both a weak ability (gain life) and a stronger one (draw a card) as opposed to the Blight Lightning.
However, I find it strange that this new guy has only one card, and a safe bet it is: a twist on a spoiled card. We'll see.

Wizards made the Drain/Poison the Well cards mirror each other, even though Drain was weaker. I doubt that they would break the pattern here.

1 is absolutely insane for this card, especially at common. This would make blue/white control in draft absolutely amazing.

So it looks like a bad heroes reunion. 4 extra for "draw 2 cards"
But i still think its not that bad, cause in a controlldeck you gain card advantage + some massive lifegain, which is nice. Still 6 mana sorcery...

By the way, why should do we always need symmetric opposites? It's no rule that cards are always the opposite in every possible way.
