Akrasan Squire
![]() Creature-Human Soldier Exalted 1/1 #1/249 Someone in a forum mentioned that they did not believe there would be a 1cmc exalted guy. Thought I would let them (and everyone else) know. Etherium Sculptor ![]() ![]() Artifact Creature-Vedalken Artificer Artifact spells you play cost less to play1/2 Already known, but I thought I would attach a name. Glaze Fiend ![]() ![]() Artifact Creature-Illusion Flying Whenever another artifact comes into play under your control, Glaze Fiend gets +2/+2 until end of turn. 0/1 Seems like an affinity card, but may not be good enough. Also 'glaze fiend' sounds like a cupcake stealing goblin to me. Just saying. Soul's Fire ![]() ![]() Instant Target creature you control in play deals damage equal to is power to target creature or player. A fling for one more, and you get to keep the guy? If this ends up seeing no play, my personal happiness will be in jeopardy. Hope this helps. Happy rumor season. EDIT: Fixed sculptor and fiend. They are artifacts. The bad, sir, was mine.

Yay. Giants = Fun and almost worth it with Soul's Fire.
Glaze Fiend will most likely be broken in Eternal or even in standard with Herbal Poultice. The other two are solid and potentially breakable. Good find, Nitro Breeze!

strange is the Etherium Sculptor not an artifact creature ?
that would be strange for the esper theme. |

the 1/1 with exalted seems like a no brainer, but at the same time very powerful. One of the few 1/1's you can play with in sealed I think.
the fling that keeps your guy is also awesome. it seems overpowered as does the exalted guy. if they're real they're cards i can see being used often. |

The squire by most circumstances is Isamaru. Nice.

Yeah, Glaze Fiend does sound hilarious. It's also not bad (assuming it's an artifact illusion?) in an esper themed deck, as it'll generally be at least a 2/3 on attack.
Akrasan Squire is a solid white beater...depends if Exalted decks will take off, really, as apart from the second turn he's going to be a 1/1 in standard white weenie. I like Soul's Fire!!! Well, it's just Crush Underfoot for any creature type, but that opens it up to crazy combo shenanananigans. Hell, I'll play it in casual regardless. Thanks! |

1/1 Exalted is good, encourage you to draft Bant, without him in the set would significantly reduce Bant power in draft.
Etherium Sculptor is not artifact himself, so that you can't have multiple of them in play too fast. Causal player love him for sure. Glaze Fiend is ok to me. 2/3 or possible 4/5 Flyer would be strong in Esper. Soul's Fire is a lot better than Crush Underfoot, any creature you control and can hit player. |

The 1/1 exalted is something I like, although now he's out I can't decide between Kithkin or Bant. Curse them printing good cards!

It's editted, it is an artifact. And I think he is going to be played in a top deck too, not only casual. |

It's definitely the commons/uncommons that'll make this set worth playing.

as for the cards themselves, we were expecting a 1 CMC exalted, and this one works nicely. Etherium Scupter is Mr. Medallion, a card spoiled by Zesty a couple days ago. Glaze Fiend can get nuts real fast. With 0 cost artifacts around they become auto-Barkshell Blessings for free, not to mention the brokeness affinity will have with it. Soul's Fire is BEGGING to be in a Fatties deck.
