Default [CON?] new art on interactive multiverse thing

You know that kinda annoying intro page to the Magic site?

Well, it has been updated with new stuff with each of the five shards of alara.

Most of the art is from Shards, but there are some new stuff.

I think that all of them are the last picture, so clicking the left arrow and looking at the rightmost art shows you them.

I would post them here, but I honestly should be working on my math HW.

This might need to be merged witht the new art for mr. Vol thing because it is the same source, but I trust the mody judgement on this.

Edit: couldn't find any new grixis or naya art.

Ah nice find I'm wondering if the esper one is something like Tower Gargoyle, either mechanically or an FNM alternate art or something.

again, thanks for the find

edit: attached the images, just took a screenshot and cropped them (not sure how to mine those out, but they're there in most of their glory hehe)

No problem, This has been the second time that I have dug through the parts of the M:tG website that most people ignore to extrach sweet, sweet art.

I was kinda disappointed on the lack of Grixis and Naya stuff.

I have to say that owl aven just look odd.

Oh great, another Ooze I can't sac to Ooze Garden.

Gargoyle looks really bw to me, but knowing Wizards, they could easily add r or something - just because Conflux is about enemy colors...

Or even that the card's about the Vedalken rider and is called something like "Vedalken Skyrider" and has nothing to do with the Gargoyle outside of the card's mechanics, thus depriving everyone of happiness at the awesome gargoyle.

Heck, after the Eventide selkie art and the Esper girl with the orbs, now when I see awesome art, I just hope it'll be used on a card. Hopefully a good one, but at least see print (And NOT as a set promo art teaser, either. That doesn't count.).

Hey maybe the chick with the orbs will be printed in Con, maybe they felt the art wouldn't fit well enough on the battlemage like most of us speculated, and she was thrown into the Art Graveyard for later use during this block. the art's fantastic. They MUST use her eventually

In all honesty, i can see the Vedalken riding the gargoyle to be some fat. Easy. the size of that gargoyle just screams My P/T are FREAKING HUGE. the Vedalken however, most likely will be the center of the card.

Probably...maybe...BINGO. (in that order.)

Looking at the arts...color analysis.

I see creature lit by / (purple) light?....enemy triad.

Middle one...no visual cue I can see.

Ooze...lots of /...and ooze is ...again, enemy triad.

Anyone else seeing this?

how do we know conflux will be enemy color focused? I admit Dragonsoul Knight from the cardlist sounds very r/w but it's the same thing they did with shadowmoor and eventide. Seems kinda repetative.

The art looks amazing, especially the gargoyle. I can't wait for the spoilers to get started. :]

I've already seen those images. It's already been there for some time.
And why are you still speaking about the enemy-color wedges? I highly doubt they'll change the main block theme (which are the shards) in Conflux

All 3 arts are amazing, @ incinerate i think you could have called them spot on.

Even though the ooze is quite a basic picture with not much going on i think it's the best piece out of the 3 for some reason.

If these are from conflux then it has already got two big thumbs up from me on art alone. Let's just hope they are used on cards and not just art that will never see card form.
