The group meets next to the man, who has fainted at the prospect of one of Talltrees's newest hired defense force. Aramil's manhandling has no immediate effect on him; he is out cold from shock.

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
Aramil struggled with everything he had. Turning to the others, he gasped, "Can one of you...help me? I...can't lift him on my...own, and he needs...to get out of this...rain!"
Len runs over, helping the elderly man roll the weary one over. He holds part of his cloak over the man's face, preventing the blood from entering the unconscious man's mouth.
"You, um..." he searches his memory for the name, but realized he hadn't checked the paper. "Leonin, help me get him up," Len says as he tries to lift the man's shoulders.
Gear moves quickly and smoothly carrying his unconscious passenger to somewhere dry. Seeing that the tavern is nearby that is where Gear heads as it is mostly likely dry and at the very least a good place to revive the man. Once inside Gear deposits the man onto the ground and then looks to the rest of the group as to what next.

ooc: remember guys, we're still waiting on one more to check in. I expect him this evening, if memory serves. That said, things can still be done.
IC: The man chokes a bit and his eyelids flutter, exposing bloodshot whites. After a few moments, he opens his eyes only to see that the kitten has turned into a gigantic feline. He opens his mouth but no sound comes out... but at least he's conscious.

Slightly out of breath, Len nods. "He probably barely made it here in the first place," he says.
He then realizes that the cat he had talked to at the arena was now a huge tiger, which was trotting off with the unconscious man in tow. Well, that's interesting, he thinks.
He snatches the paper up before it gets a chance to float off, and surreptitiously glances at the names on the page before running to catch up with the tiger.
Well at least hes awake thinks Gear. Maybe I should return to my smaller form it might be less intimidating. With that Gear returns to its small cat form. The mechanical rabit hops in.
Gear: I apologize for supriseing you before. I meant not to shock you. That seems to happen alot for those not used to me.
OOC: Avatar I promise I will try not to overpost but you know me. If someone is on I feel compelled to talk as much as I can with them if they are willing.

Aramil glanced over at Gear. Wringing the blood-rain out from his long, silky beard, Aramil finally spoke. "Well, you're quite the interesting one," He remarked.
"I do believe it is a tad bit of both, my feline friend. I do assume to can cast like most mages, or is the shifting your solitary trick?" Aramil replied.
He smiled for a moment, but then turned to the fallen man. "We really ought to get going. I do not fancy carrying another man."
Len comes over to the group, in time to hear the last exchange between Aramil and the cat. He places the mug of water he's carrying in front of the tired man. "Here, this should help," he says.
[ooc]checking in, I do believe.[/ooc]
Mar awakens from his repose just in time to see the figures of his fellow mages leaving, and follows them to the bar. Finding them and an unknown cat inside, he walks over. "I feel like I just missed something important. Was that a tiger?"
Mar pauses momentarily while he thinks this, the information and the source, over.
"Hmm..."
He then looks at the tired emissary of Talltrees. "Is he all right? Is he in any condition to give us more information about those invading his town?"
Gear: How should I know I'm a cat not a doctor. Here how about I ask him like everyone else has nicely. So sir where are we going and when and waht are we to do?

Mar turns to the cat. "Why should your outward form affect your ability to discern the status of others? Whether you are capable of administering reviving doses of medicine to others or not, you would know more of the situation than I."
Mar then turns to the Talltrees emissary. "Is your bad condition from the attack on your town, or some other shock? What type of attacks did the invaders you spoke of use? What were their tactics? And before you complain that you are in no shape for questioning or explanations, remember that the faster you recover your senses and tell us, the faster we can embark, and that the more information you have, the greater the chances we succeed in saving what remains of your town and fulfilling our own goals"
"I am going to pretend I never saw any of that." the man says, shaking his head. "What's going on is this: a bunch of savages and their shaman have ravaged our town! They've set up shop in the mayor's house, and nobody's seen HER since this thing started. Talltrees is two days south of here, in the middle of the woods. We have tamed most of the area until now. "

Gear meows support but then stops for a second. He looks around the bar for a bit of metal. Then giving the mechanical rabbit a good swat he breaks the rabbit into a few different peices. Once again Gear begins to focus on the peices. Metal begins to form into small complicated spheres. The spheres appear to be no bigger than a ball bearing. In total there are three of them. Picking one up Gear drops it in front of each of his companions hoeping they are smart enough to realize that they need to lift this up to their ears.

"That'd probably be a good idea," Len agrees. He then notices the small tink-ti-ti-t-t-t-t as the ball bearing lands in front of him. He grabs it before it can roll of the table, and picks it up, giving the cat a look that seems to say 'You made this?'
He pulls out a small magnifying eyepiece from his belt and takes a quick look at it. After admiring the metalwork for a moment, he's able to ascertain its purpose, especially since there's a small pile of scrap metal where the rabbit used to be. He shoves it into his left ear.
"If he's coming along," Len motions towards their contact, "You might want to make one for him."

Even though it doesn't transfer as well you can hear the jokeing manner in what Gear has said.
