I'm glad to hear that these will be back in circulation again! It's impossible to find anyone who wants to part with them at a reasonable price. Maybe this will drive their prices down toward the APAC land range? I need more windmills on my plains...

I'm going to be buying a booster box because Shards is gonna be drafted for the next 8 months or so. Seems great that you can get something extra for it. These are the same as the last print of Euro lands, I assume? I mean, just like they distributed the FNM left overs, these are most likely Euro Land left overs? Anyway, why complain when you're getting something for free?

I'm not sure what they're worth, but I'm interested in one of each picture of the Euro lands (15 total). For anyone who gets a Euro Land booster and is looking to sell/trade them, please PM (see my sales list for other cards I have).

Are these lands so much sought after? Didn't know that! Still, I think it's a bit expensive to pay €85,- for a box to get access to 5 lands.. Anyone knows what price these things fetch?

Although a windmill on a plains would be funny, seeing that I'm from Holland

1 pack of euro lands today runs for about 25 bucks. So basically if the price holds and the market does not flood with them, each box you buy would be getting a free 25 dollars worth of cards.

You can see the prices on eBay quite a few just sold for 25 bucks each.

Nice, I always thought Euro lands were cool but expensive. Prices are $25/pack, they should fall to about $15-20 like the APACs.

Heh! got the same mail just now :-D
Well, a few years back there were 3 'boosters' I bought them for about 5€ each (so 15 total). They are hard to find here now but not very expensive. I wonder though, if this release is a new version or the old ones with Nottingham Forest, The Alpes, Mt everest, Dutch plains (including tulips and windmill :-D) ...
Nice stuff anyway!
Mike

edit: Woah! 25 bucks a set?! I'll see if I can get a few to put up on e-bay then! :-D

You mean like the tulips in my banner? If they redo them in the new card frame I might consider buying a box or 2.

This is very odd news...

I can't think of a reason to re-release these..now, or ever.

My guess is, they're trying this as an experiment to see what sort of profit can be generated..

They've figured out that fancy lands are an extremely reliable way to get people to shell out $. Barring utterly stupid archetypes, every deck out there needs lands. By extension, every pimped deck out there needs pimped lands. Hence, a sort of auto-demand exists..

If this goes really well, I would not be surprised if we start seeing similar things like GURU lands in new frames or something... Eh?

(which would be f'n sweet)

Guess I'm more important and they sent me the email first to put it here on Mtgsalvation!

25 bucks per pack!? That's quite a lot! Too bad there is no confirmation yet if these are the old ones or new ones.

Off-topic: my website from my banner is having quite high loads. Too bad for those Americans it's completely in Dutch Perhaps I should translate it in English, but then again, the shipping of guinea pigs to America could be a bit problematic..

Because the art for many of those lands was very nice, better than many normal basic lands thats for sure.

Unless you only ever want exotic looking fantasy basics, there were some nice, unique looking basics in those Euro lands.

I really hope they have new art, I don't want the price on my Euro lands to tank because of this.
