I don't know if anyone else remembers this, but I seem to recall several years ago, reading in Duelist Magizine (when it was still in print) something about a Magic the Gathering Summer Camp, somewhere in Seattle, Washington or something like that... does anyone else recall seeing this, or am I recalling something that never happened?

You are correct. It had to be about ten or eleven years ago. I don't know much about it but my old local store tried running a similar thing like that.

I am the stone that the builder refused I am the visual, the inspiration, that made lady sing the blues I'm the spark that makes your idea bright The same spark that lights the dark so that you can know your left from your right I am the ballot in your box; the bullet in the gun That inner glow that lets you know to call your brother "son" The story that just begun, the promise of what's to come And I'mma remain a soldier til' the war is won
Aw yeah, I went to that!! like in 7th grade (1998/99)
I was just doing a search to see if I could find the program/company and apply to be a camp counselor (no luck so far, hope they are still doing it).
It was so much fun we stayed in the college dorms, went to the Wizards of the Coast arcade everyday, played tons of games (mostly MTG), and part of the cost of going was spent on giving every camper a box of booster packs, of their choice (you could even do two 1/2's of different sets).
Yes, I remember it well. The instructor was the great Mark Justice. For the final exam, one student cheated by writing cheat sheet notes on a Muscle Sliver.

Did anyone go? If so, was it fun?
