Someone I speak to regularly who travels in some "inner circles" heard about some Ravnica stuff. He's provided a little minor info in the past, but never full cards. I don't doubt his honesty, although the information itself might be a little garbled by this point since it's been through a few people since leaving the original source. Nevertheless, here's what I got out of my talk with him.
Spoiling -
Sorcery
Destroy target land. If any was spent to play Spoiling, all creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn.
I'm not confident about that name... and I think it'll be uncommon but I'm not sure. Pretty cool though - it's not really multicolour, but it's definitely better in a deck that can take advantage of the second half of the spell. Really messes with a green deck's mana acceleration - knocks off a land plus all the elves and birds! Note that this is one of the ideas we came up with several weeks ago when the early RAV info was leaked, and we were brainstorming other ways R&D might go about doing "guild" (or "colour pair") spells. I summarized our theories here - look at the fourth type which we were calling "Bleed" spells. We nailed it!
Flame-Something Zealot -
Creature - Elemental Berserker (U)
When Flame-Something Zealot comes into play, creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain haste until end of turn.
2/2
The name's a bit off. Pretty tasty though, and pretty aggro. Not always good to draw this, but I think in the right W/R guild deck it could definitely be an alpha strike card. In terms of design, this is more like an "Invasion style" gold card.
Peel from Reality -
Instant
Return target creature you control and target creature you don't control to owners' hands.
Not sure of the rarity but it looks common. This seems pointless to me, but then again I'm not a fan of blue utility. At least it's an instant... might be able to mess with combat.
There's a keyword that lets you mutate a card in your hand into something else from your library, as long as both cards have the same mana cost.
And lastly, there are at least 2 cycles of land cards, possibly 3. One of them is the cycle of duals.
I could see that blue utility card being of some use for combat tricks, maybe if Blue gets a creature with a decent CIP ability...they reprinted Anarchist, maybe Scrivener will come in this set? These 2 cards would have great synergy.
The Zealot is nice. 3/3 haste turn it comes into play that pumps everything else you control. Could see some nasty r/w weenie decks with all the Kamigawa samurai if we get more like this...
edit: "Elemental Beserker". People weren't kidding about less 'tribal' stuff in this block, heh.

that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
as for the cards.. i kind of like spoiling.. i hope theres more cards like that.. the zealot is good in a white weenie deck splashed with red, and the blue card is weird.. maybe theres some cards that let you gain control of other people's stuff in RAV? just a thought..
once again thanx for the info.. all RAV info is appreciated by us all
I must say I like all three. The LD one simply wrecks soemthing like MGA. The Beserker is kinda Meh, but could be nice in limited. And the Blue one is a nice U limited trick. Nothing you want to pick high, but...<shrug>. Can't wait to hear more.

Peel From Reality looks nuts. Assuming there are ANY good 187 creatures that are part-blue, it becomes an absolutely evil trick, along the lines of the Serrow-Witness trick (almost exatly like it, actually)

Some wonder why I carry 8 decks on me. The answer? I get tired of being boarded against in casual games, and 90% of the players I meet can't beat a jank deck I made to be tokens for a serious one.
Is it me or doesn't it strike a bit odd that none of the truly confirmed cards have the split mana cost? Even the multicolored ones? Or did I miss that one - I still think they won't change mana symbols, but that's my $0.02.
As for the cards themselves, nothing spectacular, but any scraps for the hungry is welcomed I guess.

But we do have it confirmed that they are doing X/Y mana costs with reminder text saying X/Y can be payed with X or Y. Though I agree it is VERY suspicious that we haven't gotten anything like that...its still early and the gold cards arent even half of the set...Either way These are truly interesting...it looks like a much more refined version of Invasion (without all the weird multicolor jank that made for bizzare interactions)
wait how is that good, it saves their guy too, you should say bounce their other dude. but i agree, this card will give you a 2 for 1 every time you play it right

Uhh obviously you don't bounce their guy that has damage on him, you bounce some fatty that will make him waste his entire turn replaying it.
I'm curious about the two creature types... elemental berserker. These are fairly evocative creature types, that could (conceivably) be attached to certain guilds or color combinations. But, then, neither of those seem particularly white creature types.
The "mutating" thing has definately piqued my interest.
and if that blue card is common, should be quite nice for limited, very versatile and potential for massive tempo boosting. If you just need to bounce their threat, you bounce your own cheapest thing, not the most efficient unsummon ever; but it's best to save one of your own creatures while bouncing something really expensive of theirs. It's no Guided Strike, but its not useless either.
2 cycles of lands, possibly 3, one of them being duals -- do we know if the dual cycle is five lands, or ten?
The "mutate" thing does seem interesting. Hopefully, it'll be one of those cool subtle mechanics like scry or cycling that isn't flashy but just gives you more options. Options are just nice.
Perhaps it'll have to do with the color pairs... like:
R/W Guild Mutator -- 2W
Sorcery
<cool effect>
Mutate: W (W, Discard ~this~: Search your library for a red card with a converted mana cost of 3 and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.)
Well, that' not terribly exciting, I guess. I dunno, just a random thought.
Also, I like the blue spell in Limited, at least. It also makes a nice foil for enemy removal: say your opponent wants to set up an attack by removing one of your guys, so in response you save your guy and bounce their biggest attacker. Now chances are they can't replay him because they spent mana on the removal spell, and meanwhile you get your guy back. Huge tempo play.
He means will the card that you choose from you library have to be the exact cost (EI: 2UU for Mystic restraints), or just the same CMC (So, 4 for Mystic restraints).

In a Guild-based world, it makes more sense to cluster by occupation.
If I were to form a guild, I'd want a couple guys from each occupation. That way, your guild is self-sufficient and can function without the need for other guilds. In Magic, that would mean having all kinds of different occupation creature types in each guild. But that's just me.

Yeah, I understood his question. My answer is: "I don't know."
I don't like the R/W card. Too hard to cast for what it does, really. The green LD could be a beat if the format shapes up the right way and that blue bounce will be awesome in limited and great in constructed assuming a 187. I heard Scriviner mentioned but I was thinking man-o'-war myself (and EW, of course... though she wont be in rav).
Great news R_E, my many thanks to you and our source for this info!
The bleed mechanic kinda reminds me of the type of attention cards were getting in Torment, with alot of black-centric color tricks spread throughout the cards. It's also alot like kicker, without the penalty of paying 'more' mana, and it definetly fits in with what weve seen as far as 'encouraging color pairs' is concerned too...
Can't wait for more brother!
...
...and may I add the obligitory: "GOGO Ravnica!!!"
I don't think you've been paying attention, because 4 of the 10 confirmed cards (up to and including this thread) have the "guild mana".
Actually I have, but I still think it may be some kind of working symbol (like many of the keywords that are leaked to the rumor mill), but still it may be a fact (I have been wrong before :P). But I'm a sceptic about certain things in magic (never doubted a rumor before that turned out to be true, so that's why I'm sceptical).
Regardless of that - thanx for the info R_E.. Let's just hope they didn't f**c this set up like they did Urza, but still can keep it powerful.
Peel from Reality is fairly good. While it doesn't have the entire function of Withdraw, it does have its most common use of saving one of your guys (or getting to reuse a cip trigger, etc) and removing the most annoying of theirs. Not much use outside of Limited though.

It also has the easier-on-the-mana-base cost of 1U, and you always get to bounce 2 dudes with it.
Firehawk, I don't think we're going to get confirmation on what "guild mana" looks like on a card until someone sees a printed card. Any information coming out at this stage is going to be in text form - on spoiler sheets, emails, passed on in chats, etc. The physical cards are probably being printed right now, so in the next little while we might be able to find out what "guild mana" looks like - the jury is still out on that. When you said "none of the truly confirmed cards have the split mana cost" I thought you were saying that we don't have any cards with guild mana yet, when we actually have 4 (the guildmages).

Heavy number of land cycles, no surprise there.
B/G Control will definitely like that LD card.
