So there are some promos (probably uncommon judging by Thrinax and Thoctar) which should be coming out in the next month or so. I haven't seen any information on what the cards will be but I'm certainly hoping for fallout and path to exile.

All the gateway foils have been uncommon creatures since Morningtide. If they continue this trend I'm betting on Esperzoa and Hellspark Elemental for gateway foils.
Lord I hope not. Esperzoa is only passable in Legacy and Hellspark is no good.

5th is just a guy snapping his fingers. Maybe Nicol Bolas can get mana that way, but I can't.
The promos should be connected to the set's theme, as usual. So, I guess we will get either domain spells, or something like Paragon of the Amesha and Dragonsoul Knight. Or both.
I would like to see them continue the theme from the last promos where the creatures represent a shard. Naya and jund are already represended. So put something like Skyward Eye Prophets or Sludge Strider in and then have the final shards get represented in the next promos. or pick one of those and have Ancient Ziggurat be the other promo and have the other 2 unrepresented shards promoed in the final set.
Esperzoa seems like a probable pick for a promo, as the last two were, as someone mentioned, creatures from their shard. Also, Naya and Jund were already picked, so it is less likely they will pick a creature from those shards again.

(M:tG) It's a hobby which costs money. You can't play golf without the right clubs and a membership for the golf court, you can't play paintball with a cardboard armor and a sling, you can't go to the movies without paying for a ticket and you can't play Magic without owning the cards. Simple as that.
I am with the guy that said Path to Exile and Volcanic Fallout. Those are two powerful, playable uncommons and both have a lot of alternate art directions to go as well.

Didn't notice this thread till today, but I can confirm PtE is indeed one of the promo's, I got mine from my local store (Belgium, Europe) last friday.
Did Rebecca Guay do the art for that PtE? If so, that's going to make me very happy. Also, maybe this will make them easier to obtain? I really don't like the thought of having to trade high-end rares for uncommons. =/
That is f-ing unreal. I'm shocked they did this so soon after Conflux, but I guess they must really want to push this Gateway program. This probably means that we won't see textless PtEs, but it's great for the players who want to foil their EDH or whatever decks without having to drop chase rare money for PtE.

As for the other uncommon, I would LOVE to get Shambling Remains... Though Scarland Thrinax and Esperzoa are acceptable...
