This deck has evolved into a combo monster that can also swarm out like a biblical plague before your opponent knows what hit them.
I've actually pulled off the infinite damage combo on turn 4 in a group game. It's just absurd that this deck can combo out on turn 3 with a god hand; especially when you consider that a god hand only consists of 5 cards - Goblin Lackey, Goblin Wizard, Goblin Recruiter, a Mountain, and another land.
It could go something like this:
Turn 1 - Mountain, cast Goblin Lackey.
Turn 2 - Lackey attacks, you put Goblin Wizard into play, play a land, cast Goblin Recruiter (getting Goblin Ringleader, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Lightning Crafter, and Skirk Prospector, and put them on top in that order.)
Turn 3 - Lackey attacks, put Ringleader into play, tap Wizard to put Kiki-Jiki into play, cast Prospector, sac Lackey, Ringleader, and Recruiter for 3 :symr:, cast Lightning Crafter (you can do the following with his champion trigger on the stack if need be.)
Tap Kiki-Jiki to copy Lightning Crafter;
(the copy champions Kiki-Jiki)
Tap the copy to deal 3 to a player;
Sacrifice the copy to the Prospector;
Kiki-Jiki returns to play untapped.
Repeat & Win!
I think the best thing about this deck is the fact that you can, if you so desire, "play fair" as I call it, by getting Siege-Gang Commander instead of Lightning Crafter, and just swarm like crazy with him and Kiki-Jiki.
and yea, there are a lot of big stupid things running around my playgroup, so i thought it could be good. I'm still not sure if it's worth adding though.

and wild ricochet is in ALL of my other EDH decks, and used to be in this one, but i was trying to fit in too many things so it got cut (god, i do so LOOOVE to WR a Time Stretch tho )
One of my EDH games was won with a Wild Ricochet once. 5-person chaos, and I was casting a Fireball targeting all four of my opponents (conspired with my general, Wort the Raidmother) to kill two of my opponents. One of them had Wild Richet to kill everyone else but him.
pretty cool miamoto.... rarely will anyone else be running so many of the same critter type in EDH. any suggestions for what to take out? the decklist seems pretty tight right now
I'd definitely cut Demonic Collusion and possibly also Diabolic Tutor. For this type of deck, you don't want to be wasting a whole turn tutoring for something when you could be laying down the beats.
I have to disagree about demonic collusion - it combos too well with sqee. (plus i don't mind discarding other goblins when i have wort online) if i cut any of the tutors it would be beseech the queen.
It's funny you should say that - i just saw someone else using moggcatcher in another deck, and i had never seen the card before. I'm going to be looking for one tonight when i hit up the card shop.
your deck looks cool; bit of a different take on goblin tribal. mine is mostly focused on a 'token swarming' strategy, along with a few other cool tricks
Cut Dark Banishing - too much point removal, not worth the slot Chill to the Bone - ditto Beseech the Queen - too few swamps Taurean Mauler - not really synergistic with the rest of your deck Zo-Zu the Punisher - will piss people off for a minor effect that hurts you just as much (and you don't seem to have much in the way of land removal to make Zozu work for you)
Add Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth - belongs in all black decks Rolling Thunder - I think you need more selective mass removal - something between your point removal that hits one creature and your mass removal that hits all creatures. This spell is fantastic and lets you selectively kill off other players creatures while keeping your own intact. Also see Plague Wind Orcish Oriflamme - boost your tokens Oversold Cemetery - another Wort effect Nevinyrral's Disc - I'd like to see some sort of artifact/enchantment mass removal Gamble - a great card to combine with Wort and goblin cards

thanks for the input! some good suggestions, but i have to disagree on a few points
1) Taurean Mauler is a goblin; how is there no synergy there? besides, i only play group games, and he OWNS in group.
2) Chill to the bone basically says 'destroy target creature', but you may be right about dark banishing (it's actually been removed and added a few different times )
3) Oversold Cemetary - same as DB - i swear i've added and removed this card 3 different times while tweaking....weird i know..... seemed a bit redundant, but in a highlander deck, redundancy is king
4) Urbog - definitely agreed, but i need to get another one.... it'll be in ASAP
5) nevinyrral's disk - see above
6) Beseech the queen - i think i said before that this'll be one of my next cuts....looks like you finally convinced me
7) zo-zu - he's just so hilarious! mostly in for that reason, but you're right, he draws a lot of hate. just kind of had him in till something better came along
8) gamble - don't have one, but yea, needs to be in here
9) Rolling Thunder - i need to get about 5 of these for my different decks. as much tempest as i bought back in the day, i don't have ANY
10) orcish oriflamme - right on! ..... now i just need an alpha copy so it only costs :1mana::symr:

i've also been thinking about dropping the knucklebone witch. it's really good in a normal goblin deck, but in all the games i've played with this deck, she's never been very impressive.

Erm, you're right about Taurean Mauler. Forgot he was a changeling.
As for Chill to the Bone, I always prefer reusable point removal unless it is particularly efficienct and powerful (eg. Terminate). Something like Royal Assassin or Fanning the Flames would be a better choice for that slot, imho.

Go with slaughter if you find that at the end of the game you have a lot of life to spare, or if Fanning the Flames requires too much mana. So far I've been really happy with it in my Jaya deck, but I run both Extraplanar Lens and Gauntlet of Power.

I'm unsure about Cryptic Gateway it seems a little overkill for a creature type that prides itself on being cheap and it doesn't help with any of your other powerful spells.
well, the mana echos/Xdamage kill is interesting.....what would you suggest taking out besides the gateway to allow for that? right now the list is pretty tight ( I have recently added Rolling Thunder, now that you mention it)
Wow, I've just completed a new revision of this deck, and the changes have been huge. I took out a lot of different cards, but I've added some new stuff that has made the deck even MORE explosive! Only a few new goblins, but the ones that I added have made all the difference; most notably Goblin Wizard, which is totally amazing. Below is a list of the new additions (because I didn't keep track of all that I took out....)

Ok, after winning a 6 player game on turn 4 last night, I'm wondering how fair the Lightning Crafter is in this deck..... See, I play EDH for fun, not to be extremely competitive..... and winning a game on turn 4 is only fun for one person (though, admittedly, it was REALLY fun :p)
There are lots of other powerful goblins that are needed to 'get there', but the crafter is the one that breaks the combo.....this is how it went down last night.
starting hand was 3 mountains, 1 swamp, goblin recruiter, goblin ringleader, terminate.....talk about a god hand! (though, all it really takes is the recruiter)
turn 1: mountain
turn 2: mountain, Goblin Recruiter (getting Kiki-Jiki, goblin wizard, goblin lackey, lightning crafter, skirk prospector....lackey on top)
turn 3: mountain, Goblin Warchief (drawn on turn 2)
turn 4: swamp, Goblin Lackey - Lackey smacks someone - play ringleader out for free, get 4 goblins, cast prospector, sac lackey for red and tap last two land for Goblin Wizard....wizard taps to slap down Kiki-Jiki.....sac ringleader, recruiter, and wizard for 3 red.....cast Lightning crafter and champion warchief.....Kiki-Jiki copies the Lightning Crafter, which champions Kiki-Jiki.....tap token to deal 3, and sac to prospector......Kiki-Jiki comes back untapped.......are we seeing a pattern developing here?

I would definitely replace Dark Banishing and Chill to the Bone. Reckless Spite and Ashes to Ashes are two of my favorites.
Other notables: Decree of Pain, Wild Ricochet
and wild ricochet is in ALL of my other EDH decks, and used to be in this one, but i was trying to fit in too many things so it got cut (god, i do so LOOOVE to WR a Time Stretch tho )
