Wow, the leaks just keep on coming. It's more like a flood today! WOOOO! I wish my website was as busy as the Rumor Mill.... hint hint.
On AIM I was approached by someone who had partial info on two cards. Using what we know of the set already, we pieced together the following cards. NOTE: He has leaked info in the past but is choosing to do it anonymously through me for the time being. It's still early for info so just be glad we're getting any!
Dimir Cutpurse -
Creature - Spirit (R)
Whenever Dimir Cutpurse deals combat damage to a player, that player discards a card and you draw a card.
2/2
No, I'm not kidding.
So that's the blue/black guild's name - Dimir. "Deh-meer". Actually, it SOUNDS blue/black. Nice. And the flavour - sucking ideas out of someone's head. Not a very nice thing to do AT ALL.
I second that vomitous attack! Wow. U/B will be a control force to be reckoned with. And my friend's got a good enough discard deck already...
Edit: The soldier looks like common material. Unless there's something we don't know about it, it's pretty bad. Compare to, oh, White Knight. Maybe it's guild mana?

Eep. That cutpurse is right antisocial. Keeping it unblocked should be difficult enough to keep it fair, but heck, just one successful hit, you're up a two cards and two life. Rude.
I actually like the other dude too. Does sound uncommon.
Crap, the Cutpurse isn't a Pirate? Raspberries ...
Oh well, at least it's a killer card. Lack of evasion keeps it honest, but blue and black are the two colors deepest with evasion and ways to clear the path. The Spectiphidian ability is simply amazing. Since each guild is tied together by a similar mechanical theme and we've learned that the Dimir guild (neat name, too) are "mind assassins", I wonder if we can expect more guys with the same ability? If so, wow!
Yeah. That cutpurse is hawt. Talk about playable rares. Did somebody say box? No flying, but when it hits you draw a card? Baloth 2.0, meet Hippie 2.0.
RW man has to be uncommon. Double strike doesn't come in common varieties... yet
Oh my goodness. These last couple of batches have really started to show off the strengths of this set. I can see now why it was described as being so powerful. The Cutpurse is monstrous, and even the 1/2 doublestriker is ripe for abuse.
Omg, here it is...lol. In its early stages...
4 Truamatize
4 Cranial Extraction
4 Jester's Cap
4 B/U Mill card from Ravnica
2 Hypnotic Specter
4 Dampen Thought
4 Dimir Cutpurse
4 Convulate
4 Dark Confidant
4 Sensei's Divining Top
4 U/B Ravnica Dual land
4 Underground River
14 Other Land
The Doublestrike Gentleman is not poor at all. White and especially red are good enough at pumping power to make it potent. WR may be the cheapest mana cost that doublestrike will ever come at without a drawback. (Flip cards don't count.) I can concievably see a 1/1 doublestriker for RR, but even that's pushing it quite a bit. I mean, Loxodon Warhammer is still going to be legal after Mirrodin's gone, and there's no shortage of ways to up DG's power.
It's because kamigawas still warm out of the oven isn't it? Otherwise an excelent card, maybe too good. But I wouldn't doubt that the green and white guild will have somthing to compensate for guys like these, even the white red guild. Well heck put these two cards you have here together and only the red white one will be left living.
I think the Dimir guild has a lot of ethereal members. Not everybody is human here, afterall. They're mind assassins, right? They have some dirty little spirits who sneak into other guildhalls while everyone's asleep, and WHAM, you wake up dead. Or you wake up stupid. What's worse?
Hey check this out.
1) Land, mox, double strike guy.
2) Blazing Shoal discarding a big red spell, ATTACKKKKK!!!!
The cutpurse suffers from the 2 toughness syndrome, easy to get rid of. At least finkel had a bigger butt, (now there's a quote!). Still, plenty of room for evasion in KBC.
The little R/W guy will be awesome with jitte. A double-striker that cheap will be extremely cool.
I really like him being a spirit. It adds for some synergy going into Rav for Type 2, plus it seems very flavorful for what the blue/black guild is trying to accomplish.

Creature - Human? Soldier? (U?)
Double strike

That's all he knows for now but he might be able to get more in the future... good luck to him!

Thanks, as always, R_E and source. Always nice to get early info.
Thanks bobinite of the Untitled Shop for the banner. Which, Ironicly I can't see right now.
I love all these gold cards we are getting, rav is shaping up the way I've hoped it would
Shadowmage was pretty much a steady beatstick and card drawer... This Cutpurse can be blocked...
I, as a U/B player, don't really like it too much...
And why is it a spirit?
4 Truamatize
4 Cranial Extraction

As for the card itself, it's nice, but I'd rather have Shadowmage for sure.
The doublestrike guy is neat. Slap a bonesplitter on him and he becomes insane.
