Reminiscent of Shivan Wurm. It plays out like a direct damage or removal spell, for certain, and plays nice in Limited with cards like Drumhunter and any other creature that cares about 5 or more power. Not sure how good it is, but I definately like it.

At first I hated this card. But it's actually pretty decent in comparison to Blistering Firecat. Costs 1 more mana, can't morph, but it also has 6 more toughness and doesn't die to a Mogg Fanatic.
No reason to bother with getting it to stick around, this guy should be played in decks where 7 damage to the dome for 5 is good, like a RG aggro deck. |

I like it, mainly for the psychological factor. No one wants to waste their removal on a creature that they know will be gone at the end of turn anyway. Aggro always has a problem with running out of steam (and for me, topdecking lands after running out of steam), but with four of these guys in a deck, there's always the threat of your opponent topdecking it turn after turn. I don't know if it'll see play, but it's a nice card.

This + Abundance + Beacon of Destruction = Fun semi-aggro that can't be Wrathed. Only instant speed effects can get rid of it (PtE, but not Shriekmaw, Wrath, Sower, etc...). I'm glad it had trample, or it would have not been good.

Euuhh... the last example of the trample fatties with a big drawback that R gets each block...
This one will be pretty hard to optimize... Greater good? |

Also: MANY THINGS WORK GOOD WITH JITTE, like Blitz Hellion for instance if you choose to use maybe three out of four counters to make the creature a 15/15 thats trampling and hasting.... (not yelling just getting point across). Last edited by Life Weaver : 04-14-2009 at 01:54 AM. |
