Default [ARB] The cycler cycles (cards&hints)

Well, cycling got a great comeback in the Alara block, n'est-ce pas?

And rumors say that we got several cycles of cyclers (pun intended) in ARB as well.

First, the double-landcyclers. We already knew Pale Recluse and Igneous Pouncer. As you can assume, there are RG and UB members of this cycle as well.

Valley Rannet 4rg
Creature - Beast (C)
Mountaincycling 2, forestcycling 2.
6/3

Jhessian Zombies 2ub
Creature - Human Zombie (C)
Islandcycling 2, swampcycling 2.
2/4

That makes the UW member (probably Sanctum Plowbeast) the last unrevealed member of this cycle.

Another cycler cycle is said to include this card:

Monstrous Carabid 3br
Creature - Insect (C)
Monstrous Carabid attacks each turn if able.
Cycling
4/4

Sigil of the Nayan Gods and Architects of Will are said to belong to this "one-hybrid-mana cycler cycle" as well.

Last but not least, I heard that there is a full cycle of shard-tricolor cyclers, with cycling 2C and an ability that trigger when they are cycled or when they go to graveyard. The Bantian one is said to have a Raise the Alarm effect.

Feel free to discuss

All solid limited creatures, as far as I'm concerned. Trip-Reborn would have these as super-high picks.

One mana hybrid cyclers fit into so many strategies. It's great to see wizards haven't found them too powerful.

Excellent limited stuff. I also thought about 1 mana cyclers as a way to get 1 drops in the set, but I did not think of hybrid mana, so I discarded the idea as it is hard to design a cycler for 1 well.

The jhessian zombies power and toughness are surprisingly decent, and as a zombie it makes a nice combo with Lord of the Undead: cycle early for fixing and once you get the lord down retrieve it to clog up the ground or build up your mana..

I think the bant cycler was partially spoiled before. There was a post where someone mentioned a bird that put two 1/1 tokens into play if it died, apparently it also cycles. If you're right and you get 2 1/1's when you cycle for 2W, that's broked.

You're right, I forgot about that. Seems a bit too similar for both cards to be right, though.

Yay for great limited cards! And thanks for all the spoilers you and Seds have given lately, I'm surprised you're doing it yourselves after what happened to Zesty.

yes... using him to find more mana would be great so you can afford to play some of the new sick zombies! Like the zombie assassin

For the last cycle of super-cyclers I dream of some kind of Krosan tusker abilities (adapted for each color) which would be fantastic.

The dual-landcyclers are all good if just for that ability. The hybrid cycle seems nuts, with every color essentially getting two C: Draw a card instants. Good stuff.

So unlike Pale Recluse and Igneous Pouncer, these guys don't have any other abilities?

My favorite part is:
"Creature - Human Zombie"
That is, to put it frankly, the shizzle.

Damn, you're right. I think that's the first time those two have been put together.
