[ARB] Wall of Denial

Well, one more card for today. After Wall of Reverence in Conflux, the Shards block brings another card with the word "wall" in it - Wall of Denial.

While not as flashy as the life-giver, this one is also a funny thing:

Wall of Denial

Creature - Illusion Wall (uncommon)
Defender, Flying, Shroud

Wow, I like the shroud ability of the wall.. Aggro players will definitely have a hard time dealing with this..

Very nice for stopping one guy, but I think I'd still prefer plumeveil. Tricks are nice, especially tricks that kill their guys.

I see this replacing Plumeveil when it rotates out. The shroud is great.

Well it really denies one attacker. And it is pretty hard to get rid of with both shroud and 8 toughness. Excellent in limited to help you stall on the ground and attack in the air for the win. Constructed is a bit iffy, with Plumeveil and Wall of Reverence, but I would not discount it yet, especially after rotation. Its major strength is that it does not die to path/oblivion ring like the other walls which is huge. The downside is that decks can swarm past it. Maybe something like this + Volcanic Fallout/ Infest altough that is hard on the mana.

Well, it's a major pain in the ass, even more than most walls. I'm sure I'm going to hate playing against this thing, being the aggro player.

Really like the new power level for walls (wall of frost, wall of reverence, plumeveil and now this)

I hope we see the Stronghold wall cycle again somewhere in the future.

Well, unfortunately, that's the last instance of shroud. That makes a wall, a 2 drop, and a Fertile Ground. Oh well, there's still indestructible for some annoying fatty.

wow, this is really hard to kill...and cheap!

but still... all it does is block, never actually able to trade with something like plumeveil, or turn the game around like wall of reverence.

I need 4 of these. is this the wall we've seen the art for? I remember seeing a kinda blue and white-ish wall awhile back.

To be fair, another fatty with shroud wouldnt be that exciting. I am glad they choose some other uproaches with the mechanic. Shroud grafting auras are a good step against card disadvantage.
