Cool story, bro. Nice source of damage, can easily be a bolt to the face tacked to a body early game, then if the game drags on, you can pull it back up for a massive lifeswing (though the cost is also pretty massive).

That's kinda cute. In today's enviroment that's surprisingly useful. Whether it'll see play is beyond me though.

I was hoping for something like this, a nice way to counter the lets play all nont-basics mana bases lying around. If it was 2 damage per non basic it would be lethal, as it is now it is just excellent. I can see this as the 3 drop of choice in lightning aggro.

It has been long since Price of progress!

I found the Unearth cost hard until I remembered the amount of non-basics played in Standard: it would have been too deadly perhaps.
No confirmation bu the Orb of the cost??
