[ARB] The final trio - Grixis Sojourners, Architects of Will, Vedalken Ghoul

This has been kind of spoiled by FMira in a different thread just by a few words, so I am putting it in a separate one in order to not to be omitted.

Grixis Sojourners
Creature-Zombie? Human? something
When you cycle Grixis Sojourners or it's put into a graveyard from play, you may remove target card in a graveyard from the game.

That leaves us with Architects of Will (the cycler) and Vedalken Ghoul as the last unspoiled cards, if I am not mistaken.

The precise names of the "Unwinding Scale" and the "Wisescale Serpent" snake that grows when you draw a card are also still unknown , but the snake should be [something] Coatl.

Artifact Creature-Human Wizard (C)
When Architects of Will comes into play, look at the top three cards of target player's/opponent's library and put them back in any order.

Whenever Vedalken Ghoul is blocked by a creature, that creature's controller loses 4 life.

Ugh. Another sojourner. I'm getting tired of these. Really, I am. ~Another~ one of them?
It isn't even a good card. Remove one from the game? Might as well not bother. A 4/3 for 4 mana without evasion isn't cool either.

Terrible. Am I the only one that feels like the power level dropped radically considering this card has 3 colors? 3 colors on a card should entitle it to a bit more oomph.

This guy should be a raise dead effect, not the terrible one he has now. :\

Well, it's efficient enough to have a chance in Limited, and it's pretty good against Unearth. Sure, it's not Relic of Progenitus, but at least it can attack and block. Oh, and it can do it's job at Instant speed.

I wish they'd made the cycling cost on this one less (although that would break the cycle). Esper got twitch and Jund got zap, but Grixis gets stuck paying an extra for cremate. Sad stuff.

Cremate was never brilliant, still a 4/3 with the option to cremate for 3 is limited solid.

True, it is more aggressively costed than the other Sojourners. I guess I was just hoping for an Afflict option with a body more consistent with the other Sojourners (that is, a little small for the cost). Probably would have been too strong in limited.

I'm sure WotC have some memory issues. After some silly cards in Shards that were stricly inferior to more ancient cards, they're (almost) doing it again here. So two options:
1) They didn't remember that they once did cremate and that it was already a "meh" card with a CMC of 1
2) The "one absurdly overpriced black card each set" tradition has become a design rule.

Completed and reformatted. Looks plausible, for there is still an unaccounted "back" from the Orb, and both Architects and Will have 2 hits.
It seems a bit weaker than the rest of the cycle, though, compared e.g. to the Hulk.

So the final cards is going to be Vedalken Ghoul.

Ok, no problem, thanks for helping

But this is strange....blocked by a player? That is impossible. either it is "blocked by a creature, that creature's controller loses", or "when Vedalken Ghoul deals combat damage to a player, that player loses 4 life". Do you remember which one of these it is?
