I don't know if this is the the place to put this, but in a recent acticle, Wizards announced they will conclude their Un-set next April by releasing a new set of non-tourny legal funny cards. Following in the foot steps of Un-Glued and Un-Hinged it will be called Un-Salavged!
We also got SIX SPOILED cards already! Jimmy Groove and Gerrard's Mom each leaked 3 cards. (Hopefully they won't get banned from the DCI.) Vote for your favorite batch in the poll above!
I think that since both of these MTGSers were the first to give us a taste of this new set one of them should get a trophy by their name. I guess since there was no CCL last month (well, none with that were hosted well) we should give them the extra trophy. Let's just vote now and let the mods sort it out.

At the end of each player’s turn, that player returns a land and a nonland permanent he or she controls to their owner’s hands, then puts a card from his or her hand on top of his or her library.

+2: Stand up, shake your groove thing, and up to two target creatures can’t block this turn.

Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
You can check the poll end date, it's pretty much next Friday. A lot can change over a week, I know it went back and forth between me and JqlGirl in February. A fun whole week of checking the polls

Does anyone remember the old Top Deck Star Wars game? My inspiration for about half the cards I made for this contest was their Yoda card. It was hilarious because its game text was in Yoda-speak, so I figured that sort of thing would work great on Magic cards.

I can imagine putting counters on a token getting annoying, but this is Un. I would've liked to see something (good or bad) happen when Gerrard leaves play.

This was a really easy choice. On the one hand, Jimmy Groove's cards we're rather tepid and tasteless, but on the other hand Gerrard's Mom's were broken and boring. And since b comes before t, I had to vote for Jerry's Mom.
Wow. There are some truly great un-cards here. Despite the incredibly HUGE literary faux pas, Rhyme of the Ancient Magic Player is my hands down favorite of the finals. Sadly for JG, GM's cards were overall stronger and RotAMP couldn't carry it all by itself (though it made a herculean effort). Great job to both finalists!

Jimmy, it was a great final, definitely entertaining submissions. As many others, I loved the rhyming card, it could have looked awesome in Un-style written with ink on parchment or something. Custom Man was a cool idea too, although I think there could have been more interesting flavor. If I have any advice for you, I would say you could take some more risks, because I think you have the execution to pull off more ambitious cards. "Man" was the easy half of "Mobiusman" to use, and I thought the card for me was a little too obvious, and not really worth mythic rarity. As I said in the submission thread, this might have been a case where the easier-looking challenge (designing for my name) was actually harder because you had to overcome a somewhat obvious way out. That's all just friendly commentary of course, clearly coming this far shows you have great design skills, and I look forward to facing you in future design contests!
Of course thanks as well to all the other players and everyone who stopped by to vote. Hopefully I can make the May CCL as enjoyable for everyone involved as this one was for me!
