I've been working on this one for a while. The main goal was to make a good, solid deck out of as many pre-8th edition cards as possible, and trying to get every card from its original set include cards from as many sets as possible.
This is a little bit competitive, but mostly it's just a lot of fun. Combos are hard to pull of in a 100 card deck, but when the do it is pretty awesome. Like casting a Darksteel Colossus with both Akroma's Memorial and Monkey Cage in play... an 11/11 and 11 2/2 hasty "Akromas" to smash face with. That's been the best one so far.
Plus, with the Memorial out you can use Karn to animate a high cost artifact (or several) and swing across the board for more smashing. And killing lands for 1 mana with the Lattice out.
Anyways, like everything else this deck is constantly changing and evolving
How about Myr Landshaper? That thing can turn lands into artifacts, that get destroyed by Karn. Combined with Dross Scorpion, it says "X,T: Destroy X target lands"

Hmm... I like that suggestion.
That's what happens when Karn and the Lattice are on the board at the same time... 1 mana land destruction. It's nice to have a second way to achieve that goal.
There are some things that are not optimum, but I understand your desire to keep in a card from every set. I've always liked Aeolipile for example but it's not that great a card in this format. However, it's pretty and it's Fallen Empires so...
Made some updates. Not sure on some cards though. Lifeline seems sub par in this deck, and Vedalken Orrery and Defense Grid kind of cancel each other out. I know Aeolipile is inferior to Moonglove Extract, but the fact is I just like Aeolipile better.
With Zendikar's arrival the only thing added were the Trailblazer's Boots.
Thoughts on Eternity Vessel in here? Eldrazi Monument might be worthy, but I'm not sure.
Lifeline is brilliant in this deck! If they destroy a creature, it'll come back. If they destroy a noncreature artifact, make Karn turn it into a creature and it'll come back. Opponent: "Ok, now I've had it! I'll destroy the Lifeline!" Nope, turn it into a creature and it will bring itself back!
I'm not sure if that would work.
Doesn't the card cease to be a creature when it hits the graveyard? Then it says "return the first creature..." so it would skip the artifact just placed in there and return the next creature down.
I'm not sure if that would work.

No, it doesn't work that way You don't get the next creature down. It triggers for every creature that goes to the 'yard. That creature will return if there was another creature present at the time it died. It is possible that it won't return the Line because it's not a creature anymore...but I think it does...Hmm, not sure...Will try to find out
If Lifeline would be destroyed and in response Karn was used, turning it into a 5/5 creature, Lifeline's ability would trigger. But, Lifeline says: at the end of turn, return that creature to play. Lifeline is no longer a creature when it hits the yard, therefore, you cannot return it.

From Zendikar, try Expedition Map. Half the fun of playing with Karn is using all the crazy lands.
