This is my first EDH decklist, built around Gaddock Teeg and cards from my Whole-Hog Enchantment and Enchanted Draw decks. The deck tends to play a lot of defensive, low-threat creatures to start with, then break out some high-power enchants like Ancestral Mask and Daybreak Coronet to start beating on people out of nowhere.
Yeah... quite honestly, I tend to play Teeg early on, then generate some goodwill by declaring that I don't want him around any more and attacking with him so he gets killed. He's just another tool in the box. I didn't center the deck around Uril because someone else in my local meta had an Uril deck as his primary EDH deck, so I didn't want to step on any toes. Plus, Uril as general would very much alter the focus of the deck from utility protection to general-oriented beatdown.
...it's also fun to bluff like you have some awesome 4+ cost card in your hand and repeatedly throw Teeg at people, begging them to block and kill him so you can play it. You stand a decent chance of actually getting combat damage through this way, albeit usually only two at a time.

And I learned the hard way that literally no one likes you if you play Gaddock Teeg as your general. =C
This deck desperately wants to be centered around Uril, the Miststalker.

Oh, you're right, of course. Meant to include Fertile Ground instead. I'll edit the decklist to reflect that.
