I've been trying to finish my Ghost Council EDH deck, and I cannot seem to stay content with it, as i bounce between efficiency and flavor (Vorthos/Spike). I slowly have been Working on foiling the deck too, but I want a solid list before I finish foiling, as I dont want to go buy a bunch of foils i am not going to use. Alright, enough monologuing from me, here's the current (as of posting) list:
Some quick notes about me and my Magic craze:
>NO PLANESWALKERS! I have considered putting Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Liliana Vess in, but I want to avoid planeswalkers atm.
>For the token theme, I prefer recurring tokens/creatures rather than the one-shot tokenmakers (Icatian Town or Spectral Procession), but I am thinking about the CITP tokenmaker creatures (Cloudgoat Ranger, Knight-Captain of Eos, and Marsh Flitter). Not sure there, but would be feasible and up my creature count
>I want to increase my creature count/tokenmaker count over goodstuff. But some of those goodstuff i have foil and cannot convince myself that they arent good enough to use (Enslave)
>I am a huge fan of having a duality theme here (Black Kight/White Knight) and like having a black and a white version of things. Plus, themeatically speaking some weaker cards that look awesome foil (Orzhov Guildmage) are fun to see/not good, but I would like someone else's opinion.
>I want to lower the curve a bit, as i spend too much mana a turn for 1-2 spells late-game
>On average, I am the target on the table, so I cannot use REALLY obvious and dominating cards to great extent, as people already gut me whenever they have a chance so no Armageddon to encourage this behavior (thats my /spike that pisses everyone off lol)
Other cards I am considering:
Please toss your ideas at me, hopefully it can help me!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

I had a Ghost Council EDH that was very good after a lot of testing. After the first list I made, I found it wasn't very good to base the deck on tokens to sac. This is because Ghost Council doesn't really do general damage so the more you could use his effect didn't help. I found it was the most efficient to use creature with effects when they went to the graveyard like Academy Rector, Archon of Justice, Reveillark, etc. This made the deck way better. Biggest card you are missing is Grave Pact. The card is absurd in the deck. I also found that equipment wasn't as neccassary in this deck since your general isn't really attacking. Those are some tips for you. Any questions just ask.
I've considered the Grave Pact, but there seems to be one problem with the card. If your opponents have ANY idea as to what card it is, they IMMEDIATELY band together to slay me ruthlessly for even THREATENING to destroy their board. Otherwise, its really powerful but way too risky.
The Reveillark combo, ive been wanting to use but for 2 reasons:
-I cannot find any cardshops in my area with Karmic Guides
-Ive a foil playset in a standard deck
But good suggestions, I will consider using the pact again, and *sigh* keep looking for guides.
I am wanting more of a duality nature-flavor to it, and FOR THAT REASON ONLY i was considering adding the black and white knights. Any thoughts?

I do not want to go Cleric themed for the Rotlung Reanimator. However, I have considered putting in the Black and White Knights, but unsure if I should bother. Another pair I am going to cut for is Charcoal Diamond and Marble Diamond, b/c I do not like the colorless acceleration as I cannot pay for my general or various other cards with it. I am also cutting a few non-color producing lands, but I do not have my deck on me I'll update my list tomorrow or so.
Remember, the focus for the deck is 1v1, but I want it able to play in multiplayer (instead of Channel+Fireball, its more like Pestilence+Urza's Armor). Powerful, but reusable and exponential growth available.

P.S. I also liked to use the Reveillark, Karmic Guide, Carrion Feeder combo, throw in some other crazy cards like Grave Pact or Highway Robber and you just win.

Any other thoughts? Currently, my deck has problems fighting a Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind deck that involves a lot of cantrips, free spells, and Mindmoil/Teferi's Puzzle Box/Thought Reflection.
