Orange, I find it ironic...you first reveal Creakwood Liege waaaay back during Eventide's release via a Magic Show preview, and now, you reveal a card that definitely reminds me of Mr. Heartworm.
Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. Welcome to the world of competitive M:TG.
........................*Has a heart attack and faints* Whoever designed this...I LOVE YOU. Here comes my wolf tribal deck! This might possibly be my favorite Magic card ever. :D:D:D
...mythic? I'll be honest, that seems underwhelming next to Bogardan freakin' Hellkite and a 5/5 flying lifelinking first striker for 5.
if it were a rare, it would be easier to pull in sealed and draft. having something that decently powerful in all m10 sealed or draft be any more common would make it degenerate.

I really don't think that's it. In draft you will be opening 24 packs. With 53 rares, there is less than a 50% chance anyone at the table will see this (I believe the frequency of mythics replacing rares is 1 in 8, so you'd get 21/53 rares = 40%). Before they added mythics, unless you're drafting 3X of the small set of a block (with less rares), no rare will every have that much of a consistent impact on limited. Even in 3x small set draft no rare has that much impact (because you're still only talking about seeing it in ~50% of the drafts).
I think it is just a very cool, flavorful card. Also pretty bomby-powerful (not quite like the angel though). So they made it mythic.
Anyone else notice how all the non-planeswalker mythics so far have to do with creature types? And not currently supported types, either...
EDIT: Never mind, I didn't see that Bogardin Hellkite was mythic now.

Despite my name, I do not play casual magic. Just thought that would be good to tell people.

Creature - Human Shaman
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a 2/2 green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield.
Tap: Tap all untapped Wolf creatures you control. Each Wolf tapped this way deals damage equal to its power to target creature. That creature then deals damage equal to its power divided as its controller chooses among any number of those Wolves.

I can't shake the feeling of how much it looks like Nemata, Grove Guardian.
Plus good with Chameleon Colossus, no that it needs other cards to be good.
edit: nvm! Thanks
