Have you ever thought about running some mana ramp to help your problem of the deck being slow? Stuff like Explosive Vegetation, Skyshroud Claim, and Kodama's Reach can seriously accelerate your deck in the mid-late game faster than normal. Mwonvuli Acid-Moss and Frenzied Tilling are also possibilities in disrupting your opponent and accelerating you. Then you have utility creatures like Wood Elves that accelerate + color fix with duallands.

I had Explosive Vegetation in there, but opted for Crop Rotation to get Gaea's Cradle. But since Gaea's Cradle either gets destroyed or my creatures get destroyed, it has seemed largely irrelevant and I might as well drop Crop Rotation for something like Explosive Vegetation. Once I get the Ravnica duals, I'll probably get Skyshroud Claim as a way to fetch my duals which seems good. Are the bounce lands that tap for two mana good? It puts you a land back in the early game but catches you up later. And what about Signets? Thanks.
I'm not a huge fan of bouncelands myself, but people do run them with success in multicolored builds. If your playgroup doesn't usually bounce or destroy them, they can be worth it.
I like signets though. They accelerate and color fix, and are a good early play for a somewhat slow deck like this. Plus, if a signet gets destroyed, you aren't set back like you would if a bounceland was destroyed or bounced.
Painter's Servant lets you make massive amounts of tokens if you connect with Rith. If you choose black as the color you can also play Reap which is randomly insane depending on the decks you play against.
Wow, that does seem like a really powerful idea, but if I connect and start making tokens with Rith, it's already a winning situation for me. I've made a lot of cuts of cards that I saw as being "win more" cards that only took a great situation for me and made it insane when it was already winning. I opted for more cards that allowed me to come from behind. While Painter's Servant with Reap seems like a very sick combo, it seems over the top to me a bit. Not sure, though.
What do you think about cutting Finks for Bloodbraid Elf? Almost all of the targets for Bloodbraid are accelerators or business cards. The only blank is Martial Coup.
updated my list. changes are all listed on the bottom and i am open to opinions. I'm really wondering if Insurrection can just save your butt so much that I shouldn't cut it.
