If they're all gonna have different planes in them, I'm impressed (even though several of those places seem more like locations, but w/e).

Velis Vel might give Changelings a power up plane

Vesuva is an interesting choice for a plane, also.
Glad to see Sanctum of Serra. I can imagine a Planechase Casual deck w/ Serra-related cards in it.
Biggest thing for me though is the IZZET plane ^-^

Some of these planes sound like just place name.... I didn't know the Academy was on a plane of its own.

Anyhoo, so each deck gets 4 unqiue planes cards and 6 overlapping ones?

Lorwyn/Shadowmoor - Velis Vel, Raven's Run
Mirrodin - Glimmervoid Basin, Panopticon
Alara - The Maelstrom, Grixis
Ravnica - Izzet Steam Maze
Phyrexia - The Fourth Sphere
Serra's Realm - Sactum of Serra
Dominaria - Academy at Tolaria West, Isle of Vesuva, Stronghold Furnace (assuming post overlay, though since Serra's Realm is there and it no longer exists it could represent the Stronghold when it was still on Rath)

Thats all I recognize. Feeding Grounds, Marusa, The Hippodrome, and the Pools of Becoming don't ring any bells for me, but I am not the most read up upon the older magic lore.

Interesting. It looks like these cards are printed sideways. I like this, because it gives the oppurtunity for some amazing panoramic art.

And, I believe that each individual card isn't representing an entire plane. They really all seem to be specific locations that share a plane.

It seems like each "Plane card" is just a specific location on a particular plane.

Did anyone else squeal a little when they saw The Fourth Sphere? I mean, we all knew it was coming, but my sweet little love for Phyrexia burst forth seeing that we get to play in the vats. Very classy stuff.

Gorgeous art too; my excitement for this is growing by leaps and bounds.

What I take away from this preview is that each card is likely to only have one effect. It looks like a lot of the card is going to be used up by the art and the framing. I also only see one symbol on the two visible sides. Provided that isn't a mistake from mockup (which would be bad), I would deduce that you roll the die at the start of your turn, or some such, and then if you get the planar side, you replace whatever the current plane is, with a new plane off the top of your deck. Just a thought at least.

It's good to see some more information about Planechase.

Based on deck box colors:

Elemental Thunder is R/G
Metallic Dreams is mono U
Strike Force is W/R
Zombie Empire is U/B or mono B, or grixis colors maybe, but that would give red three decks

I'm glad that I have three magic playing friends to bring to the release and there's four decks. I would hope that the release allows mulitplayer games since this is a multiplayer product so that we can get a good four-way with each of the decks.
Now if only we had the decklists...

Phyrexia and old dominaria is what i wanted ,can't wait to pick those up

.Now if they only made a set with a rebuild phyrexia and the ineffable again that would be even better

.Who wouldn't want serra ,urza, freyalise,yawgmoth,as planeswalkers and the rest of the gang back
