I voted for WT's card because I think they were amazingly put together for the task at hand. Jau's story was amazing and his cards were top notch too. This was a very close race and very hard to choose a winner.

"Those who endure in the face of suffering, those whose faith shines long in evil days, they shall see salvation." -Song of All, canto 904
Two very cool submissions, but I had to vote for Jau. Being a huge fan of flavor, I loved how his cards matched so well what the story he wrote was expressing. The best example was Lifelong Ambition. While it would be a mediocre or even bad card on its own, putting next to the paragraph he did actually evoked a sense of sadness in me, which has never happened with a custom card before :D.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
WhisperedThunder, my hat's off to you for being a formidable opponent. Considering how close the poll was in the end, the result of our epic battle could have went either way. Thanks to everyone who voted - we couldn't have had a result otherwise.
And seratonin did a superb job organising last month; you also have my gratitude.
