In short: no, you can't counter turning a morphed creature faceup.
Morph is a static ability. It means:
- You can cast that card as a facedown 2/2 creature by paying 3. This is a creature spell that can be countered.
- You can play a special action (paying the morph cost) to turn it face up. This doesn't use the stack, and so it cannot be targetted by cards such as Voidmage Husher or Stifle. What happens here is you declare that you're turning it face up, by doing so and paying the appropriate cost. In the case of Bane of the Living, you announce that you're morphing it and what X is, and pay the cost. This never hits the stack; it all happens at once. THEN, Bane of the Living's -X/-X to all creatures ability triggers and hits the stack; the act of it becoming Bane of the Living from a whatever-2/2 never does.
Morph is a special action that doesn't use the stack.
Bane of the Living has a triggered ability, which will trigger and stack when the creature is turned face up. However, you can't counter it with Voidmage Husher, since his ability only counters activated abilities.

2. Can I cast Voidmage Husher to counter his attempt to flip the card up?
Is morph an activated ability? If so, when is the card revealed? Upon placing the ability on the stack, or upon resolution? Thanks.
