This is my casual deck based around Chimeras and Changelings. As a first draft, it could use some work. I worked an "exile" removal suite in here because it just wrecks some decks in my playgroup. It's also a first draft as just what I have at the moment. This deck lost a lot of power since damage doesn't go on the stack, ie. block with a Chimera, put it's damage on, sacrifice it, etc, but it's still a fun deck. It's a bit singleton too, as I discover what I want or need in the deck. Seems to fall with a budget deck as well...
The exile removal is double colored so there is mana fixing in Spire and Searchlight. Searchlight is also nice as I play a lot of Two-Headed Giant to help teammates.
Sanctum works well. Tomb typically has no drawback here over a Swamp.
Shuriken kills weenie decks in my group. Really should have 2...
Rootgrapple is the almost universal removal and cantrips often.
Endemic Plague is a budget Wrath... plus I often Blood Speaker into Skeletal Changeling, sacrifice Chimeras, then Wrath and regenerate.
Sanctum Gargoyles recur Chimeras. But I've had games where I don't have enough dead Chimeras! So, these will probably be cut to up each Chimera to 2 each.
Moonglove just stalls people when it has first strike.
Changelings... well, there is a variety for each situation! Assemble them with Chimeras. Flying, vigilance, deathtouch, first strike, etc.
Blood Speaker is draw and tutor... get what you need!
Thanks for posting this! (he's following up on something I asked about a while ago).
Yah, with only half a dozen or so chimera, I think 2 sanctum gargoyle should be enough.
I'm surprised by no Cairn Wanderer. They'd pick up the abilities of any dead chimera, making the chimera doubly useful once dead As well as the abilities of your opponents' dead creatures, of which in multi-player there are often plenty.
You're probably missing the best Changeling of all with the Chimeras: Chameleon Colossus !
Boost it so the power doubling can get to insane levels (funky with the sanctum!) + the Chimeras give it evasion as well to get around it's only drawback.
Of course the double G would mean tweaking the manabase a bit...
You should also have a couple of Mutavaults, so you can have some wrath-proof chimeras (not very budget I know). The nice thing is that the counters stay on when the land ceases to be a creature so next time you reactivate it for a measly 1 mana, you may be getting a 7/7 flying, trampling monster :).
Seems to me Cairn Wanderer would be a neat fit as well, with all the inherent abilities of the chimeras.... (ah already suggested I see...)
This would be a perfect deck to use Cauldron of Souls as well, quite deadly with Sanctum actually :o. Open the Vaults would also work, but just for one shot.
...
I also agree that you need more Chimeras in there.
Primary and only casual rule: "any rule that is fine for the most part of the playgroup, is a fine rule". So any further thread with: "if somebody uses/does .... in a casual game, is it ethical/ok?", read the answer above.
- Being a "Johnny/Spike" means you like self-torture. You win often in casual, so everybody hates you; you loose often in competitive, so you hate yourself.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

And just for giggles, maybe once in a while (if you have them) throw in a ] or a Sosuke, Son of Seshiro" target="blank">Seshiro the anointed[/CARD] or a Sosuke, Son of Seshiro. They both have a pretty dramatic effect on changelings that can throw your opponents for a loop--and would be unexpected out of the 'chimera deck.'

I don't like the Iron-Heart that much.
Wild Pair is nasty with the Chimeras and Chameleon Colossus.
Sacrifice all Chimeras, Terrarions, and Mind Stones, then play Open the Vaults for pure awesomeness!
