Hey! I hope you don't mind, but I'm using this as my skeleton for my first EDH deck. I have a couple questions as far as card omissions though that you may be able to enlighten me on:
Marsh Flats - Maybe you just don't have? Sword of Fire and Ice - You have Light and Shadow, so why not the superior one? Baneslayer Angel - Best beater ever? Decree of Pain - Not sure how slow this format is, but the "Draw a card for each creature destroyed" seems like enough gas to power out one of the combos present in the deck. Decree of Justice - One of the best token producers ever? Able to finish a long game or make fodder at instant speed, either or its win/win.
Sure they'll be more as I continue to look through and build the deck.
I used to be an advocate for the Baneslayer, but the thing is that she never really contributed to my overall strategy. She's a solid creature, but by no means essential. For a recursion-friendly color combo like B/W, there are more potent flying beaters out there like Yosei, the Morning Star (who should definitely be in there). The other suggestions are pro, though.
A few other cards I run in my Teysa build, as food for thought:
Mini-rant: I tried running Sorin Markov, but I had to take him out. I felt like a jackass whenever I played him. Sorin just drops and knocks like 15-30 life off your target, for 6 mana. That's just rude. Once you do that to a person everyone else at the table is going to gun for you. Don't get me wrong, he's brutally efficient...just keep in mind the political implications of playing him.
If you're running Crucible of Worlds it's probably not a bad idea to run a fetchland based mana base with a less basics and more fetches. Since you'd be going down on basics it'd also make sense to cut Thawing Glaciers. Also I don't see a Strip Mine, further abuses of Crucible of Worlds. Beyond that the list looks very solid. It also might not be a bad idea to throw in an Iona, since you have many ways of reanimating it and you naturally work well with Painter's Servant, as well as cards like Shred Memory that do double duty of hosing graveyards and fetching Painter's Servant.

First off, thanks! Glad to be an inspiration for a deck someone else is putting together!
I have a Marsh Flats in there, didn't have a spare when I originally threw this together.
I don't really have a spare sword of fire and ice, the one I have is in my Wort, Boggart Auntie Deck >< It would definitely be in there if I had a second, it's on the list to get for sure.
However, given how the deck operates, light and shadow typically "better" as the recursion effect is really important with how this deck operates. Getting back those token generators or annoying, effective creatures is very important.
Baneslayer - I play a lot of type 2, so that takes up 4 and I'd really rather try to trade/sell my 5th. It also doesn't do a lot to help the deck outside gain some life and draw a bunch of hate...
I don't like decree of justice for the mana cost. That's sort of how it works out. Ideally, if I am being a jerk, I win before I can really make a significant number of angels. I don't really care what kind of tokens I am making, I just need to get 3 or 4 and then I don't really care. All of the other token producers are either cheaper, stay on the board indefinitely, or have a side advantage (cough, twilight drover + lox = fun...)

Yeah, Yosei's in there, I had to get a second one, other is in my Sisay Build.
I am avoiding Luminarch Ascension because if I play the spell, I will be insta-gibbed. If this deck was 1v1 it would be another matter.
Kor Haven Yeah, I've got on in my captain sisay deck, completely spaced. It's in there now.
Story Circle could be fun...but the problem with the "combo" is if I have painter's servant or darkest hour out, I am winning that turn, period. Might still be useful though! Need to play around with it for sure.
Martial Coup I'm not really a huge fan of for the same reason I don't like Decree of Justice, and the mana cost is a bit much for what it does for me.
Sorin Markov is a dick move, but I don't usually play him unless it gets me table points. I'll often use him on someone that's at 500 life or something like that to make everyone at the table love me. But yeah, very not cool if you use it certain ways.

Thanks! Might have to go ahead and try to waste a bunch of money on the fetches, I was thinking the same thing as you. Strip Mine and Wasteland are in the list. I'm gradually working on getting the older fetches. Regardless I need to be careful not to distort the mana base or I'll have a rough time with Emeria or Cabal coffers will be worthless without urborg in play.
Thawing Glaciers is there not just for land grab, but I am also trying to get shuffle effects in the deck to dig for combo pieces. However, yes, it might not be the best thing.
Shred Memory definitely seems pretty solid...might have to make space.
FYI, stuff I am considering for "removal" Shaman En-Kor is a fun redirecting hoser, but I'm not sure it really does a whole lot in terms of driving the deck. Auriok Champion is also questionable here.
Ah, I'm still getting used to the whole political aspect and not being overly agressive. I think what I want to implement is a mod package for the deck. Basically have the skeleton of the deck, which is good in either 1v1 or multi, then add in each "mod" deck based on which I'm playing. This will hopefully allow me to have two different versions of the deck that will excel at single and multi respectively. Also, why Spoils of the Vault? I understand that if you get 4 tokens out the game swings HEAVILY in your favor and will most likely result in a win, but with a 100 card deck I feel you will probably kill yourself before finding the card. Unless I'm being retarded of course and don't see something lol.
EDIT: Also, why Conspiracy? I see it has some synergy with Cloudgoat Ranger, Skeletal Vampire, Mobilization and Rotlung Reanimator, but it doesn't seem to have a purpose as far as the main goal of the deck is concerned. I feel there may be other spells around the same cost that could prove more beneficial.

Conspiracy actually does have a purpose with the main theme. Most of the deck is build around a combo with Teysa, Orzhov Scion. However, this allows you to combo out without Teysa. Use Conspiracy and Rotlung Reanimator along with the combo finishers - Fallen angel, phyrexian altar, altar of dementia and then you're still good to finish the game. It's here because I need some subtle ways to slip in the finisher. It's also no hivestone, but turning every creature into vindicate on a stick is solid.
So that card is in there for redundancy. If I don't use conspiracy, rotlung reanimator isn't worth a spot in the deck.
spoils is for humor value - it's coming out for STP, iona, fire and ice, or shred memory. Eh, I'll just put shred memory in now and get it over with
Since your playing B/W, I think most players will be afraid of the Wrath/Damnation/DoJ/etc that you could throw. So this might buy you enough time to drop Storm Herd (which combos nicely with Teysa). By turn 7-8 you should still be around 30+ life.
I just reread your OP and you aren't playing Wrath/DoJ/DoP...why? Great reset cards. If you are playing Crucible, might as well through in Armageddon.

Retribution of the meek saves all of my tokens along with teysa. False prophet and a sac outlet lets me RFG the board at isntant speed. Damnation is a functional wrath/doj - just for 2BB, and the last two letting me draw gobs of cards. Might be too expensive, but thus far, things have been fine.
it doesnt shut it down, it makes it awesome as the tokens she creates are both white AND black
Unlike Painter's Servant, which said they are "the chosen color in addition to their other colors," Darkest Hour merely offers a replacement effect - all creatures are black. Period. Not black and their other colors. Just black. Combo turns to bombo if you needed to use her white sac ability. Altar of Dementia still combos with Darkest Hour, though.
I recommend adding Nether Traitor. Comboed with Teysa and Phyrexian Altar, it can produce infinite mana. Mix in Extractor Demon, and you've just milled all of your opponents. You're already running three of the four cards, might as well add Traitor.

Combo still works, just now the only option is darkest hour
Trade/Sell me your Demonic Attorney!
Which combo? I don't like Darkest Hour myself and didn't put it in my Teysa deck because it shuts down her sac ability.
