Well, that's very interesting indeed. I wonder if the other people in the pic are planeswalkers also? I like the looks of them if they are.

So I take it this is Worldwake's sucessor.

The picture's cool, but has too many shadows. You can't really see anything well.
Aren't the things in the background eldrazi?

the eldrazi(if that's what the beings behind our friends sorin and nissa are) look like something out of a lovecraft novel.

Sorin and Nissa are both looking awesome in that image. Quite cool.

And yes, Lovecraftian horrors for sure.

That pic is HAWT.

The big dudes in the background remind me of the Nature God in Hellboy 2.

Looking forward to learning more about this set as I'm pretty much over Zendikar. (earlier than usual)

edit: The Lovecraftian thing is intriguing. Ohhhhh that would be sooooo cool if they actually go in that direction. (Not explicitly HPL, obv, but highly reminscent.) = Joygasm.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with Eldrazi. This pic makes it seem that Eldrazi are just a name given to a bunch of Horror/Golem looking creatures, rather than an actual race.

Why do the Eldrazi look like Legendary 1 of Pokemon?

LOL I'm having bad 80's movie flashbacks from this image "Krull" anyone? All they need now is that weird throwing star thing from the movie and the pic would be complete lol.

The fact that they don't look like a uniformed race gives more credence to the speculation that they the MTG version of Lovecraft's Old Ones. I like that they all don't have the same look.

Lovecraftian horrors and polyhedrons make sense. If anyone's ever read HPL's "At the Mountains of Madness," they'd recognize the blasphemous geometries in the structures of the Elder's city.
Also, much exploring, dungeon-delving, ancient writings of ultra-powerful Elder races, and freakish ooze-horrors in that short story. Though, I was unimpressed by the writing.

So the left Eldrazi has some floating thing over it's head, like some crown.
They look horrible.
