Hello everyone!

If you are here to help to translate the new MagicCards.Info into your language, please either send me a Private Message or post in this thread! Thanks!

Translations missing: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean (and any language that doesn't have cards printed in)

I've been working on a much needed update to MagicCards.Info.

I used to like seeing card images as I went through search results... is there a way to still do that?

Yes you can! Pick "View as Cards with Scans" from the dropdown.

After the release that will be the default.

looks great to me, will try to think of other boolean style searches that may come in handy, maybe a way to search for cantrip effects in type 2 that are blue cards?

What about c:u o:"draw a card" f:standard (t:instant or t:sorcery)? "c:u" is "color:blue", looks a bit strange as I just noticed...

You can build that query on the Advanced Search page too.

Looks good so far.

Art game is fun. Like the different ways of viewing cards. I don't personally use the boolean style searching, but I find the Advanced Search quite handy.

I would like to see the seaching as you type words thing that Gatherer uses if possible.

Otherwise, keep it clean, powerful and fast and I'll continue using it over Wizard's search.

Browsing random cards gets annoying when the "Click here!" button is moving relative to the card image size or the long list of printings. I hope all cards will have the same picture size so links can stay on the same spot.

Or you can hit "refresh" like the page says.
Or just click the random button which is at the top.

While playing the Art Game, I got a panel that said "Secret" as the card image. When I clicked next, the answer was this:

Some cards might be missing the artwork image. I will look into that.

Is there a way you can specify groups of card types?

f.e. a search for (the word 'damage' on all) 'permanent' or 'non-permanent'.

I know I find it a minor problem of the current version, that 'creature' is above the other permanent types and one can't do a search for permanent.

You could go for o:damage (t:creature or t:land or:tartifact or t:enchantment or t:planeswalker) which is quite long, I admit, but works until I find something better. And the other part would be o:damage not (t:creature or t:land or:tartifact or t:enchantment or t:planeswalker).
