It's been awhile since I tried building something new for EDH, and I found this guy hiding in the back of my rare binder, so I thought I'd try it out. I'd like to focus mainly on sacrificing creatures, since I still haven't gotten over the loss of Reveillark in Standard. Naturally, there will still be some enchantments involved, and Hanna, Ship's Navigator is a must-have, since I have a feeling she might be the one who "corrupted" a young and impressionable Ertai.
I'll edit this list as more suggestions come in, but this is what I have so far:
I think it was Belbe who corrupted Ertai, along with radiation from the Rejuvenation Chamber, and torture at the hands of Commander Greven il-Vec. That's the official story, which gives you just about nothin' for cards.

@scumbling: I forgot about Zur - his presence generally means there's some dumbass trying to break him. Minamo and Riptide Lab are totally in.
@Future posters: I appreciate your ideas, but my biggest weakness in EDH is my inability to cut weak cards in favor of stronger ones. Please try to mention things that should be cut alongside your suggestions.
Lullmage Mentor + Ertai = best thing since sliced bread. Intruder Alarm makes that broken, but Pemmin's Aura works as well (just counter the Wrath's and you are covered for the game).
I'd throw in Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek if you could >_>. Gains you life, dudes to sac, and unlimited blockers which you'll need once your playgroup starts smacking you for countering their stuff.
Gravepact and/or Butcher of Malakir are pretty sweet with Ertai as well.

Maybe I'm mis-reading you, but Parallax Wave will eventually return the exiled creatures to play. It's used for primarily for multiple blink effects.
