I'm relatively new to this format. I'm probably a little less than a month into the whole EDH-world, but so far I'm loving it. I felt like after trying out a few of the decks that people have made here that it was about time I contributed myself.
Well, Rosheen Meanderer just felt like it was a perfect general for me. When I first created this deck, I focused on the X-costing spells and how much Rosheen Meanderer did to accelerate them. Turns out that was just asking to be countered. Rosheen also became a target for removal. I decided to take the deck in a different approach... Using Rosheen Meanderer as an acceleration, but at the same time not making her the main focus of the deck. This deck is more focused around +1/+1 counters and abusing them as much as possible along with having some big and nasty creatures out.
This deck is loads of fun. It awakens your inner Timmy while at the same time being lethal enough to stand up to various other decks. For instance, I lived the dream the other day.
Turn 1: Mountain -> Sol Ring -> Lightning Greaves
Turn 2: Forest -> Rosheen Meanderer -> Equip Greaves onto Rosheen
Turn 3: Taiga -> Mana Flare -> Sensei's Divining Top and Worldly Tutor -> Search for Apocalypse Hydra and put it into hand via top
Turn 4: Forest -> Doubling Season -> Candelabra of Tawnos -> untapped my lands and played Garruk and Top
Turn 5: Scorched Ruin -> Rosheen tapping the Candelabra and pushed my mana up to 20 -> Played Apocalypse Hydra for x = 18, Hydra comes into play as a 72/72. Equiped Lightning Greaves and Garruk overrun.

Some fun things about the deck:
Rosheen Meanderer + Magus of the Candelabra/Candelabra of Tawnos = Four more mana to use a turn. Combine this with any of the lands that produce more than one mana/a land enchanted with Overgrowth makes for some sick mana right here.
Mana Reflection + Grim Monolith/Basalt Monolith = infinate mana to power up those nasty X spells. Especially fun with Banefire. Even more fun with Apocalypse Hydra. Double infinite +1/+1 counters? Yes. Please.
Woodfall Primus + Cytospawn Root-Kin/Cytospawn Shambler = Fun times destroying stuff.
Roshean Meanderer + Orcish Settlers = A very unhappy opponent. Especially deadly considering how early this can come out.
Roshean Meanderer + Citanul Flute = A tutor for almost any of the deck's creature-based win-conditions. Most often of which being Apocalypse Hydra.
