"Big" & "Bad" meaning that it's currently untested and it's almost 600 cards.
Hey MTG Salvation, I've just spent the holidays building my very first cube. Currently its at 585 cards, which is a little too large for me right now but I might just keep that size if I get enough drafters, with 80 cards each color, about 50 lands and artifacts each, and 81 multicolor cards, the 81st being a Fusion Elemental (listed below in the spoiler as Squire, seeing that for most people it will be like that). It's for 8 to 10 people to draft, and as it says on the top its all commons and uncommon cards (although some have been reprinted as rare)
I'm a Johnny player and I hopefully tried to reflect that in my cube: there's a lot of unconventional card choices and a few notable subthemes running through the list. I already know people with high powered cubes which are a lot of fun to play, but the aim here is to create a more unconventional drafting experience that differs from the usual power cube experience. Therefore, I have a soldiers subtheme in white to make up for the lack of power weenies have when Armageddon is not available, a lot of cards that discard for effects to enable madness and reanimation, plus a few things such as some of the Honden Shrines and a few other experimental cards. But as they said in Middle School, Show don't Tell so without further interruption:
As the list changes I'll include edits and update this post. I'll also post a story about how I first pick Fusion Elemental and build a Reanimator or 5cc deck.
Finally, major props to Klug, Psi, and Bizzaro Bike for posting their own cubes for inspiration.
