I really would like alt-art Phyrexian Rager.... but that's not going to happen, probably.
As for that Negator, seems okay. I kinda really really like the old art, though.
Don't care for the Negator Art. It looks way too organic where as Phyrexians were always hybrid flesh/machine abominations. The artist took away a lot of what really made the old art stand out, imo.
Never gonna happen, but I'd be so psyched if they actually went and printed an Urza card to go with this product. As a storyline fan that barely plays casual, this would likely be the only way to persuade me into actually buying it.

Duel decks don't have new cards, just reprints, so no dice.
I thought that they couldn't reprint negator due to the list they made? I hope they is one I need one myself but are we thinking that the negator will get a reprint?

Well, it's hard to make any case for those artworks other than Phyrexian Negator and Urza's Rage... but I still find it hard to believe that they're going to reprint Negator. Reserve list, blah blah.
But it looks like that's how it is. The similarity is just too perfect to be anything else.

The Reserved List? That's correct. As of now, they can't print it (unless they plan on changing it, but I don't want to get off-topic). So, no, it can't be Phyrexian Negator.

Would be a first for wizards: selling a foil version of a reserved card.
Considering the ftvs AND the slivers set both didn't do it, this won't. Sliver Queen was their perfect excuse too.

I presume what he is getting at is the idea that changing it to Mythic status somehow makes it variant from the Reserved list... which I suppose could make sense.
I could see some other items on the reserved list being brought back at the bumped up rarity.

Again, they could have done the same thing for the Premium Slivers deck with Sliver Queen, and they didn't. That would have been a far better time to do it.

Well, from a purely economic standpoint It does at least make more sense to reprint something worth $3.00, rather than the card valued at $20.00 on the market.
Though it is always a rather odd question as to how much WotC pays any mind to the secondary market.

Wizards doesn't make any money off of the secondary market, so it's a much lesser concern to them than the sales of their own products.
Breaking, or at least "bending" the reserve list is not something that would be done lightly. Doing it for Phyrexian Negator isn't worth it. Doing it for Sliver Queen, a much-beloved card that fits perfectly in a product built around one of the most popular tribes in Magic history? A much better justification, but it still didn't happen.
I would be shocked if Negator were reprinted here. More likely, it's another Phyrexian creatures with new art that makes it look similar to Negator, or possibly a noncreature spell.

That's generally a matter of opinion so far as the Queen being beloved, I personally have more fond memories of the Negator than of her, and all told bending to make a creature which most identify as iconic for Phyrexia DOES make a fair amount of sense in considering that the Phyrexian plotline in general still remains a favorite for a lot of players, myself included.
That said, I too would be shocked to see the Negator reprinted, pleasantly so, but shocked all the same. I'm a bit stymied as to what else it could be however... hoping its not another Lord of the Pit. Don't want my Dual Decks to have bad 'mythics'.
This really doesn't look that much like a Negator. There are a number of distinctly similar features - the hands, the chin, the cords on its back (or whatever they are)... but the overall shape is quite different.
I didn't say that you have fond memories of Sliver Queen. Lots and lots and lots of other people do. More than Negator.
Sliver Queen is more popular with the casual scene than Negator is. And everyone needs to remember (saying it big and in bold because it gets forgotten, not yelling at you personally)
There are more casual players than competitive players. Casual players are the majority of Magic players and spend the most money. Don't be surprised when they are given more thought than competitive players.

Nice deckboxes, all in all.

Certainly makes that picture of Urza look a lot more Rage-y.
