Update to this deck. I wish they would have given me a better general than Numot in the new precons, but the others are just meh. I like having Numot's ability to destroy those pesky lands like Homeward Path and any others like Coffers.
it's a good deck, but imo:
1. play all the karoolands u can. they're like cipt lands, but they ensure land drops. u may find urself able to run less lands.
2. Izzet Chronarch. It's Eternal Witness in UR. Infinite combos with extra turns and Followed Footsteps.
3. Rite of Replication. Amazing card and general removal.
4. Hinder, Condemn, Spin into Myth: more optional, but remove problem generals.
5. Gilded Lotus. This is one of my favorite cards in EDH. Also, I'd take out Khalni and Armillary for better accel, like Coalition Relic, Darksteel Ingot, and Signets.

EDIT: Walking Atlas is pretty bad. Journeyer's Kite > Armillary Sphere. Path to Exile is as good as it is in standard, but the aforementioned Condemn is a bit better due to generals.
EDIT2: Reminisce, Mnemonic Nexus, Roil Elemental are pretty removable as well.
I actually like Izzet Chronarch , because I love abusing my own cards with Capsize and Disappear. I played Gilded Lotus, but it always got destroyed or countered, something about the three mana...but I love having lands in my hand that I can abuse, so Khalni Gem is great. I have zero problem with acceleration, and a hand full of cards makes scroll rack happy!
As soon as I get an Izzet Chronarch he is going in. The atlas is coming out, because he is squishy, and land is never an issue. Thanks for the help.
Added him. With almost 30 Instants and Sorceries, it should be nice.
Not to advertise or anything, you should def. check out my decklist for some really neat ideas...like I notice you don't have Take Possession or Word of Seizing, awesome steal effects.

Lol. I just want to say that I came into this thread thinking this deck was going to be clasic control; you know, with the counterspells and such. This is alot funnier though! Literally control. As in 'gaining control'. All I can say to this list is that i'd hate to play against it
