No. I am making no predictions about any release date. I haven't seen the card, so I can't say for sure. Honestly, given WOTC's track record, it probably won't see print until sometime late spring. FNM cards are rarely in Standard for long, unless they're from a Core Set.

Back to March, and the interesting choice that will be in Standard for almost a year and is already in a Premium Deck.

You guys are too hopeful. The best standard FNM cards get printed a week before they leave standard, everyone knows that. Bloodbraid's FNM card will be playable only in extended, you watch. Same goes for Gatekeeper.

If you want playable uncommons in standard as promos, you have to rely on Gateway giving us decent cards (Path, Thoctar, Thrinax, Nighthawk, etc).

To be perfectly honest, Ziggurat was played mostly because of Sculler in standard. The decks that ran Sculler, Warmonk, BBE, etc. I think Ziggurat fulfills a role, it's just not important enough that people want a promo version of it.

But it's more playable than other FNM cards in the past.

The art is ok, not a huge improvement, but not a bombo either.

All this thought about alt art BBE has got me thinking that someone should do a "bad "fake with a BBE head on an Eternal Witness. That seems like it would be hillarious.

This art is a huge improvement over the original. Netiehr looks like a ziggurat, but at least this one is terraced.
