“Lord Vader, I’m sorry but we have an urgent matter that you should be made aware of.”
Darth Vader looked down at the low level, grey clad worker of his star destroyer. He rose one of his robotic hands and considered showing this idiot the price of interrupting a Dark Lord of the Sith. Feeling the fear grow in the minion’s heart was enough to sate Vader though, for the time being.
“What is it? Have you word of another Jedi?”
“No, sir. It seems we have an intruder on board. Some kind of unknown alien life form. It’s holding one of our crew members captive and demands to meet with you.”
Vader touches the lightsaber at his waist. “Fine, take me to this creature.”
He was led to one of the hanger bays. The worker stopped at the door. Vader felt even more fear in him now than he had when he was about to choke him to death. What kind of monster could produce more fear than even himself, Vader thought.
He stepped into the hanger and the door slid closed behind him. The lights that were still on, high above, flickered and sparked. Vader walked past mangled bodies and parts of bodies scattered around the bay. He saw that many of their TIE fighters had would need repair as well. This would not look good to the Emperor. An alien stowed away and damaged their fighters right under his nose.
He reached out with his mind and felt for the intruder. He could feel a few crewmen calling out with their minds to finally die and end the pain, but he couldn’t locate the creature.
“You won’t find us that way, Lord Vader,”
Vader turned around toward the voice. A humanoid creature stood a few feet behind him. It was covered with oily black skin with sharp talons and a maw full of jagged teeth. As it moved into the light, Vader could see that, beneath the blood, its skin had patches of white, including a distorted symbol of the empire across its chest.
“In times past we have figured out how to shield our minds from the attacks of the Jedi, and it would seem of the Sith.”
“You are an intruder on my ship. You have damaged property of the Empire and killed its subjects. You will pay for you insolence with your life.”
“No, Vader, you are the one that will pay tonight. We have watched you. Your endless hunt to eradicate the Jedi Knights that have escaped you. It was our hatred for you that bonded us together. We think we can do better than you have. We think the Emperor would agree.”
“I find that unlikely,” Darth Vader said. He held his hand out and his lightsaber flew into it and turned on. “But perhaps we should test your theory.”
A long, sinuous tongue wormed out of its mouth and licked its face. “It would be our pleasure,” it said.
You appear to have changed Venom a fair bit... in order to vote on this I need to know who is the host? As Venom is a parasitic in nature that absorbs its hosts ability's to better its own (and often enhances them) this matters. Further more when did Venom gain mind power immunity from Sith and Jedi? This version has considerably knowledge that imo the original did not have. I presume you had to do this to prevent a total blow out for our Sith Lord but still it seems a little against he spirit of the competition.

I'll break my own rule and address this (since I sort of agree with you).
I tried to make it somewhat apparent in the set-up that this host is a worker on Vader's star destroyer during the time of the Jedi hunt (so between the trilogies) that hates Vader and wishes he had been noticed by the emperor.
As is the case with most of the Vs. set-ups I've smooshed (it's a highly technical writing term) the two universes together. In this universe, the same symbiote that knows Eddie Brock, Mac Gargan, and others sometime in the far, far future, has found this person that hates Vader and bonded with him in order to replace the Dark Lord.
Just as the Marvel Venom was able to "figure out" and neutralize Spider-Man's spider-sense after they were bonded for a time, I figured that it could do the same assuming it had bonded with a Jedi at some point in the past.
Note that this just makes it (them?) immune to "Jedi mind tricks" and sensing emotions and the like. I figure it wouldn't make it immune to force pushing or getting hit by debris. To the same degree, a Jedi (or Sith in this case) has been trained to rely on the information they gather from the force, so Vader would effectively be fighting blind.
Hope that helps clarify. Let me know if there's more confusion.

I liked that set up. It makes for an interesting Vs., as I can't easily make up my mind as to who should I vote in.
I'm inclined to believe that Vader would win, but Venom kinda has the upper hand on the scenario, so I don't know.
Edit: I've decided myself and voted Venom. Since the alien symbiont survived long enough to see the "far, far future", I don't think a lightsaber and some force power will be enough to stop him.
Venom also takes the powers of other creatures he symbotises... its one of thoughs "the longer I live the more powerful I become" type creatures (kill em while they are new the world dam it!) for it to have lived this long Venom wins this fight... however I see Vador winning due to populairty. the only way I COULD see vader winning is if this is pre cybernetic vador and there for could use force lighing even than its a BIG if. Venom wins due to possable additional power up though out the ages.
Heaps of thanks for Piet's amazing Vs. banner.
