Dengeki Maoh - Cunning Sparkmage Promo

From the magazine in today's magic arcana, I noticed it mentioned a Cunning Sparkmage promo card. I had to search for it in Japanese in order to find it, but here's a scan.

Yeah, saw the article, so much for the magic based manga I'd been drawing. You know, with original characters and whatnot, guess I have to go with my mystery plotline instead.
As for the promo card, I haven't checked at the combini magazine stand in a while but I'd assume you just get it free with the magazine. I'll head down to there later though and check it out for you guys though, then maybe buy all the copies of it they have to sell the sparkmages online as I'd imagine the magazine is around 300 to 400 yen.
EDIT- Its 630 Yen, Reading is tech.

chandra in her new manga style would have been 1000% more awsome. dekenki last time i bought it was like 10 from a jp bookstore.

How's this photoshopery for a consolation prize? I'm tempted to put it in my Chandra sleeve (with the real card behind it, so none of that naysayer proxy griping!)

Anyways aside from the Chandra, that Sparkmage Promo looks awesome.

Lol @ Magna chandra... That would honestly be a joke and an insult to our mtg artists. Thats just my opinion =)

Yeah, just quick photoshop work. I don't want anyone to misunderstand and think Wizards is actually releasing a manga style card (though From the Vault: Manga would be fun).

No, it is like the Shepherd of the lost promo. The loam lions, pattern is like the buy-a-box promo. That would be awesome in a zoo deck, next to FTV or Arabian/summer magic Kird Apes.

It's funny (in a sad way) how any thread that it's remotely related to Japan quickly starts to have talk about manga and anime.

Anyway, cute choice for a simple promo. This guy is fun in limited.

On-topic that Chandra mockup is pretty amazing. And I'm normally not much of a fan of the style.
