Just got some delightful bits of info.

Intro Pack names, colors, and card names of cards in them:

Leveler's Glory - WU - contains Student of Warfare (a creature with Leveler)

Leveler's Scorn - UB - contains Sphinx of Magosi

Invading Spawn - BR - contains Drana, Kalasria Bloodchief

Eldrazi Arisen - RG - contains Conquering Manticore

Totem Power - GW - contains Gigantomancer

I'm guessing 'Student of Warfare' is the horseborn rider on one of the intro packs. Not sure about the Surrakar looking thing; maybe Gigantomancer...

Makes me wonder if Leveler's ability would have some kind of play in the Leveler mechanic. Not sure how that would work though...

Maybe some kind of watered down version of Leveler like:

Eldrazi Pimp-Slap -
Instant
Leveler 4 (As you cast this spell you may remove 4 cards from the top of your library)
Remove target creature from the game. If you paid the Leveler cost, remove two creatures from the game instead.

Probably the same as Channel with channel - i.e. none.

Cool to have the names. I will be delighted to see another vampire legend.

The Leveler's Glory is UW and the Scorn is UB, as seen here.

do we know which intro packs are which colors? i can easily tell (from the pics in the fat pack/intro pack picture thread) that Leveler's Glory is the UW one and Leveler's Scorn is the UB. and according to Captain Black the intro packs are all allied-color combos, so GW, GR, and RB are the other three, do we know which is which yet?

Conquering Manticore sounds really interesting seeing as there hasn't been a manticore in a long while (unless they tweaked the name to Masticore for a little). and yay another sphinx! if it turns out to be an artifact creature or has abilities that do anything with artifacts, it's so going in my Sharuum the Hegemon EDH. another bloodchief is cool, i'm not the hugest fan of the sudden "let's force black mages to use vamps for a while" thing, but it's not so bad.

Given that Leveler is supposed to permanently increase the stats of the creature that activates it, I could see Gigantomancer giving other creatures--perhaps a whole team--Leveler.

I'm sure this set will have the ability to sac creatures to add mana to your pool for the purpose of casting these spells. Gigantomancer could be just that.

A cooler mechanic would be to give blue a bounce + add mechanic. Return target creature you control to it's owners hand. It's owner adds mana equal to half the CMC round down to his mana pool. This mana can only be used to pay for colorless eldrazi spells.

What do you think totem armor is? Pay to prevent the sacrifice of this creature?

Any idea if they are in color pair order? That would make Eldrazi Arisen the deck. Fittingly, the colors with fast mana and acceleration.

I don't think they can be the intro pack rares. Two of them are nonhumanoid, and Drana should be black, meaning that the two visible cards here would have to be Gigantomancer and Student of Warfare, and while I can buy the white on as the Student, I can't see the blue one as Gigantomancer.

That said, a manticore? How long has it been that one has been printed? Time Spiral block? Maybe there's hope for Dwarves to come back after all.

Edit - Masques Block! I was thinking a different creature type, there.

Plus, MaRo's Goblin-hidden-text thingie pretty much confirms that the mechanic has two words in its name.

Hmm, the context of the hint does make it seem like MaRo was talking about leveler/level up. Is there any way to make the hint make sense with Totem Armor?

Edit - Doesn't really look like it, to me. The "to improve their goblins and goblins" part doesn't particularly work with auras.
