This is my Uril, the Miststalker deck. I play in a relatively casual playgroup, but tend to draw immense hate every time I shuffle this one up.
I have a major problem with sweepers, and tend to die out before I can recover from plays such as Hallowed Burial.
Does anybody have any advice to make the deck a bit more resilient?
Thanks in advance.
Well, the thing is Uril is the most popular general on these forums (according to the EDH deck database), so there has already been a wealth of criticism on the subject. Uril is a pretty linear strategy, and most of the decks I've seen are all pretty much the same.
Now, if you want you can go completely off the radar and add things like Astral Slide with a bunch of cycle lands and have yourself a time. Add a bunch of utility creatures like Eternal Witness, Auramancer, and/or Woodfall Primus to help keep the gifts on giving slash hate out opponents shenanigans. Slide makes these creatures better. Today, for example, I had Slide and Aura Shards out with Eternal Witness as a slide target, and let me tell you how much fun that was. The obvious downside to this is it obviously takes away from the main goal of the deck, which is an invincible Uril. I recommend your own personal brand of shenanigans, it gives your deck a plan B and something else to do every once in a while, especially if your group is pretty casual.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.
Weiss Schwarz Sets
Accel World, Angel Beats, Familiar of Zero, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Guilty Crown, Kill La Kill, Robotics;Notes, Sword Art Online.
Chaos Partners
Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Iona, Kirishima, Kongou.
Dangan Ronpa: Asahina, Togami.
Freezing: Vibration: Chiffon, Satelizer.
Vanguard Clans Favoured
Angel Feather, Dark Irregulars, Genesis, Neonecter, Pale Moon, Shadow Paladins, Tachikaze.
Thanks for the help, guys. I kinda thought that the dependence on Uril was the problem, but I also didn't want to try other stuff until someone pointed to it and said to do so.

Come on, surely someone has some advice or criticism...
Eternal Witness
Restock

Nature's Spiral

It is also arguable that you run too many auras and are reliant almost wholly on the general. So you could remove some and add good cards.
Also if Uril gets tucked by Hallowed Burial you could try the following to recover him:
Worldly Tutor
Eladamri's Call
Time of Need - With other legends.
Summoner's Pact
Chord of Calling
I would work on finding good creatures/other permanents though, which depends on what you have available.
Main Decks
Diaochan, Iroas, God of Victory, Kaalia, Marton, Ulasht, Volrath,
Kaervek, Prossh, Titania
