This deck was built for a relatively casual multiplayer group. I threw this one together because I was tired of drawing so much hate with my Uril deck.
I welcome any and all comments and/or criticisms. Thanks.
I don't know why it's been 21 hours without a reply. The deck has been built without trawling through gatherer nor enough games to know what doesn't work. I started going through what to cut but there are very few cards in this deck that you don't cut.
I'm not going to come across as a friendly person with an opening paragraph like that, but honestly I can help you build an EDH deck. Your first attempt looks like my first attempt. There's no evidence of research at all in this deck except for genesis. I have a feeling I'm the first person to help you with EDH, ever.
EDH is about endurance. Half the spells in every EDH deck needs to address this. The other half need to disrupt your opponent from winning and progress you towards winning. Your deck has way too much of the latter, it will die out and you will die because your opponents are casting three times as many spells as you; each!
Lets get into the part you're more comfortable with first, win conditions.
That's plenty. In three years time if you still have this deck, you will have exactly half these dragons left. But that's an evolution I can't teach.
Okay, lets get into what endurance really is. Last game I played, oblivion stone went off, killing everything, including a mindslicer so everyone also lost their hand. Every one of us, however, were back with business the very next turn. That's endurance. Your deck would look pretty while it tried to topdeck. I do not recommend using all of these cards. I strongly recommend you pick from this list what you want.
Spot removal that doesn't exile is ludicrously bad in EDH. I recommend Duplicant. Putrefy is playable, Terminate isn't. EDH is a multiplayer format, go for sweepers. You really need to get your hands on a Decree of Pain, it's a really good card. Damnation will also help. Also consider an Oblivion Stone.
I'm glad to see you have 39 lands, that's a good number. Don't play Ancient Ziggurat though.
Thanks for the assistance. I am perfectly fine with seemingly harsh critiques of my decklists. I play in a quite casual group, and our idea of EDH is a little different than that of most groups. We tend to play cards that are less than ideal simply because they see so little play in other formats.
I have made a few recent modifications to the decklist, as you may notice. I like the concept of several of your suggestions, but as I am on a relatively limited budget, and some of the singles that I have that you recommend are in other decks of mine, I have a hard time building a "great" EDH deck.
Well I will second onlainari's comment on the choice of finishers; however I will add Zirilan of the Claw and Imperial Hellkite
Playtest them and see if it benefits you to be able to tutor for your dragons or your general if someone condemns him.
Also, lightning bolt seems subpar in EDH. 4 seems to be the magic number for toughness. If you look at Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir , he was put at 4 to keep him out of the reach of cards like lightning bolt. So you might wanna try Char instead. The 2 damage isnt really a big deal in EDH
As far as sweepers go, I have had good success with Barter in Blood because it gets around Pro Black and Shroud and Indestructibility . Not to mention it can do some considerable damage in multiplayer.

I really don't like Goodstuff, which makes me a Self-Proclaimed EDH Hipster. I'm also an avid theory-crafter, most of which are terrible.

Disruption is vitally important in EDH, and you don't have much at all.
You have to have graveyard hate. You have to play Bojuka Bog and Withered Wretch. You may also chose to play Puppeteer Clique or Nezumi Graverobber, they are both pretty good.
You have to have artifact and enchantment removal. It's pretty much compulsory to play Acidic Slime, Woodfall Primus, and Terastodon. I recommend at least doubling this number, cards such as Relic Crush, Indrik Stomphowler, and Wickerbough Elder are good.

Insurrection should probably be in this deck.
