Agree with wtwlf and Bonda. You should never have more gold cards than cards of a single color and in fact should have fewer. In a cube of this size, I'd be running 70 multicolor cards at most and probably more like 65.

i know it would be easier to tell if i indicated each change in a
card leaving --> card coming in
format, which is how i would do it if the change was smaller. in this case it was just easier and most of the changes weren't card for card so much as "i just bought all these top tier cube staples and they need to go into the cube."

mostly for blue, which had a bunch of lackluster cards that i wasn't attached to. apparently i needed the extra nudge of the cube comparison results to motivate me to finally get rid of them. body double is going in with low expectations because i like reanimator so much. it will probably come out for something better. ancestral vision has never been one of my favorite cards but some people swear by it and it should probably be in instead of some of the stuff that's been in. blue is sadly lacking in several key staples but i should get my hands on most of them within the next month. i really love exile but the non-white clause can be awkward and it's probably the best card to remove out of white (and apparently most people don't run it).
the last change may look odd, and that's because what i actually did was move nacatl to multicolor. i maintain that it's as RG as it is GW but since neither of them can have it and since i would rather remove uril than anything in green, the nacatl goes into naya.

i'd like to try it out, and like i said i could use more removal and briarhorn should be monogreen removal a lot of the time. call of the herd has been kind of mediocre but i like the card, so i could see putting it back in later. is there something in green right now that you would take out for call of the herd?

In my opinion you could get rid of Elephant Guide or Explosive Vegetation. I'm not a fan of either guides since it leaves you open for a 2 for 1 when you're casting them.
Explosive is ok but by the time you have 4 lands, you are usually good on the fixing and its mainly for ramping. At that point there are better cards for ramping so its not really worth it.
wow, i honestly didn't know it was so highly prized. i'll probably take out wolfbriar or explosive vegetation next update.
in unrelated news, shelldock isle was played for the first time in my cube's history and did pretty well (:D): both life totals were low, there was a vengevine wearing a grafted wargear on the other side, i drew my card bringing my library to exactly 20, paid for the isle and dropped nicol bolas, planeswalker from underneath. nice.

the white swaps are the ones i feel the most iffy about. i also feel a bit weird about dropping instant speed burn for threshold burn but i think sudden shock is the weaker spell here. ball lightning has been in too long and has never functioned in an ideal manner. i would greatly appreciate criticism and alternate suggestions!
edit: i just realized i typed these changes backward... sigh.

Most changes are good. I would reconsider the following:
eight-and-a-half-tails --> blade of the sixth pride
The fox has a potentially great ability, but it is quite costly to pull it of efficiently and it is yet another WW creature. This doesn't mean that I wouldn't inlcude him, but I would feel bad if I'd cut the Blade for him. Maybe cut Lone Missionary (similar to Blade, but hostile to aggro) or Mystic Crusader instead.
barbarian ring --> sudden shock
I'm not a huge fan of either card, but I like the Ring less than an actual, reliable and early castable burn spell.
basking rootwalla --> wolfbriar elemental
You already have plenty of creatures for G, do you really need the Rootwalla? If you're running Cloudthresher with its GGGG cost (great creature, by the way!), there is no reason not to run Wolfbriar, too.
If you're running Cloudthresher with its GGGG cost (great creature, by the way!), there is no reason not to run Wolfbriar, too.
It seems to me like that's the perfect reason not to run both. I'd minimize the number of creatures with ridiculous casting costs... not increase the number simply because you're running one already.

yeah those might be better changes but both of those dudes just went in (or went back in) recently and i want to give them more time. i like blade but it's not hard to kill like crusader and it doesn't punish aggro or fulfill any niche role. blade will probably come back in eventually.
i can't argue with any of this, really. iona is in for reanimator and i just happen to like the card a lot. it might come out later, since i need to bring down my average converted mana cost. i think pristine angel and iona are better cards than emeria but it's probably better for the cube to drop one rather than the other. i'll have to ask my peeps.

i don't like sudden shock but i recognize its uses. i'll put it back in if i feel a need for it.

i agree with wtwlf here, and the difference between the two is that i'd rather evoke cloudthresher for 2GG and then recur or reanimate it than play wolfbriar for 2GG and get a vanilla 4/4. both are potentially color intensive but have less intensive optional costs, and the cloudthresher beats out the wolfbriar there. green doesn't need a vanilla 4/4 more than it needs an off color effect like direct damage at instant speed. rootwalla is going in because the last couple of times i played i felt like green needed just a bit more aggro support.
unearth has rarely been used. i like it in theory but i have no way of knowing how good it is in my cube, even though it's been in there so long. buried alive is narrow but pushing reanimator hard is important to me. i will confer with my associates but i think buried alive will be the choice to stay. we'll see.

I like the angel and you don't have that many four drops anyway. I would cut either Pristine Angel or Iona, Shield of Emeria for the dragon.

recurring nightmare --> unearth or buried alive
I cut Buried Alive recently, for being too narrow.
Uril, the Miststalker RGW -- Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre C -- Vhati il-Dal BG -- Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer RW -- Animar, Soul of Elements URG
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker R -- Maga, Traitor to Mortals B -- Ghave, Guru of Spores BGW -- Sliver Hivelord WUBRG
It seems to me like that's the perfect reason not to run both. I'd minimize the number of creatures with ridiculous casting costs... not increase the number simply because you're running one already.
And Barbarian Ring is a fantastic land.
