No; I have this thing about holy war. I dislike the very notion of it, ideological issues aside.
Well, to each his own. I find it Thrilling.

I don't really see how my situation would be worse, no.
You don't see how your situation might be worse with governments like that of Iran as the worldly majority rather than the current state of affairs?

The posts were on wildly-varying topics and separated by several hours. Besides, it's not like anyone was rushing to fill the gap, and I certainly wasn't going to wait around while Clermont's praises were going unsung.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people defending their beliefs--to the death, if necessary; but acts of aggression are kinda bleh.

Can you, in clear conscience, honestly say that it would definitely be the case?

Yes, yes, I suppose. Just hope THE MODS!!!!!!!!11!!!!!1111 see it that way.
I generally put things best, yes.
I most certainly concur.
EDIT: C'mon lurkers, don't be scared. We don't bite. Well, Denver does. But he's not a real person anyway. He's...imaginary.

That's not what she was saying last night, baby.
To further elaborate: We prayed. Horizontally.
(Oh God, oh God, yes, oh God. And so on.)
Edit: Well, actually. . . The biting part, yes. The imaginary part, not so much.

Yes. The Muslim invasion of Europe, rape of Anatolia, and seizing of the Holy Land was most definitely "bleh."
Can you, in clear conscience, honestly say that it would definitely be the case?
I can, sir, and do.

That's true. I think the moment has passed, however.
I most certainly concur.

Not exactly. He's more of a legendary amalgamation of a number of Epic Deeds under the name of a single personality. There were probably several such "Denvers," but his supporters - credulous buffoons that they are - have found it convenient for polemical purposes to ascribe all of their exploits to a single man. They've also made a great deal of it up, too, and it's difficult to separate fact from fiction.
Thankfully, we have the noble, ground-breaking work of people like the Denver Seminar, who have, via the magic of arbitrary opinion and coloured beads, finally managed to extract "the historical Denver" from the mess of lies and exaggerations that has so long been the norm. The whole world should rejoice at their findings, for they have presented a Denver who is unparalleled in tolerance and compassion, and may as well have never existed at all for all the impact that they've deigned to allow was his. When all is said and done, they tell us that something approaching only 2% of the material surrounding Denver can be called "true." This excludes entirely - some critics have said conveniently - all of the many aspects of Denver's nature that men have found so difficult to emulate and reconcile with their own lives.

He's had so many differing roles in a variety of B movies, it's a wonder he landed the "tough, get-the-job-done" agent in a highly succesful television show.
I found it mildly entertaining for the first two seasons. After that, I couldn't take any more of the "oh! come on! that would NOT happen!" moments and the drawn out story lines.

Has the West Wing not been on for like three weeks, or is it just my local affiliate?

Seems like all The series I enjoy turn to crap at some point. The Sopranos, Monk. I can only hope The Shield stays decent.
Yeah, Monk went totally downhill.
An exciting piece of news: the Infidel Guy and his family will be on ABC's wifeswap opposite a fundamentalist family this wednesday, the 28th at 8pm. Tune in and enjoy! I just hope they don't represent him unfairly to placate the crowd. The original press release seemed wildly unfair.

Oh. My........Oh my. I cannot wait. I will surely be watching this and....YES! I am off from work.
On Monk and other shows: You people have it all wrong. You should be watching Degrassi: the Next Generation. Best. Show. Ever.
EDIT: I just read the press release for the Wife Swap episode, and it's actually pretty standard. They usually portray one family as relatively wholesome (if with a few flaws), and the other as troubled, in need of help. It helps with contrast and drama, I suppose. It just so happens that they probably had trouble portraying a pastor's family in negative light

Hrm... I think that show is rather lame. Still, I can't help but watch it every once in awhile when there isn't anything else on. Some of the girls are sorta cute, I s'pose.
edit: by the way, I haven't forgotten that I am supposed to pick an "official" title for the clan, it's just that I am stumped as to what mine should be.
ack! The 28th is monday, not wed! The show is on right NOW! Tune in, if you can. Sorry for the mistake!
And they've been talking about that episode on II forever. It's been supposed to be on for like six months. I'm glad they finally aired it.
I'm a little buzzed. Drinking with old roommate, who is a crazy man. He's living proof of the idea that a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. He likes to make sweeping pronouncements on all sorts of things based on what essentially amounts to a spotty high school education and what he recalls from some lecture he heard once. It's hilarious when it isn't distressing.
But he's good drinking people, anyway. Newcastle Brown!
And remember! The Forum Awards have begun. Hint hint...

But if you guys don't nominate me for something, I'm going to cut you.
Ha ha! That Denver! Always making us laugh with his threats of cutting!
Which is why I nominated you for funniest. Not cuz I feel threatened. Nope.
I also nominated Goblinboy for best mod. Sorry Stax and Sen.

I wanted to see if I could out-trump Denver in snobbishness so I decided to nominate myself. I am just that awesome. I am so very busy this month so I might not even get to nominating people.
Furor will win in any category he's nominated for, short of "Biggest Atheist", a category they will surely create to escape non-Furor dominance.
Till next time, toodles.

I say talk about how cool the show 24 is.
It's so cool.

Me too. I think it's that whole 3 hours of daylight in the winter thing.
That sounds like personal problem.
And personals are not my problem.
To be fair, I never actually watched any of the third season, I just figured it would be more of the same.
Seems like all The series I enjoy turn to crap at some point. The Sopranos, Monk. I can only hope The Shield stays decent.
But does this really prove anything?
If electronic messages from me prove my existence then am I of no more significance than a very specific conductor?
Or maybe someone just hijacked my account.
If you like The West Wing, it hasn't turned bad (at least, for me it hasn't)...
Anyway, does anyone know anything about minoring? I did some research on my own, but has anyone done it, or anything (for college, I mean...)?
