So, in Bant colours/Artifacts, is there a Tooth and Nail combo that wins the game on the spot.
Iona and Painters Servant were as good as pre-banning, but are there any currently viable win-the-game targets? |

Eternal Witness and Reveillark
Doesn't win on the spot but next turn tooth/nail for a Sac outlet(I can't think of one right now) and Body Double and go infinite... Alternatively (Avenger of Zendikar/Regal Force will always draw you a crapton of cards... Ive never lost after that play but it could happen I don't know what would win you the game on the spot...

Crovax, Ascendant Hero and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa give you
: destroy target land. I think that's probably as good as it gets.

Dependent upon what you already have in your yard, you can use the Mirror Entity / Reveillark combo. If you have Body Double or clone and either Acidic Slime or Riftwing Cloudskate that puts you destroying or bouncing all lands and possibly other permanents. There are obviously other things you can use, but those are the first things that came to mind.

If it wasn't for the Bant restriction, I'd have suggested the old Mephidross Vampire/Triskelion combo. However, the next best thing would be Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Sakashima the Imposter. Most people will concede to two 15/15s with Pro Colored Spells.

I guess you pray that people have a kiki-jiki in play and go sakashima-pestermite? Nah, i'd go with Kamahl-Crovax, especially if there's less players

yeah, I don't want 'dependent on board state' combos. Those are easy enough, as is pointing out Kiki-Jiki and/or Mephidross Vampire. We all know those by now.
Kamahl and Crovax are interesting, but they're not great individually, plus, it's a pretty big target on you, and after tapping for 9, it's unlikely you can cause enough damage. It's probable that there just isn't one, which is fine, and tooth and nail is just a 'good card' in my deck. I was hoping it could be a combo killer tho. Admittedly, after playing the deck this afternoon, a tertiary combo seems a touch unnecessary... |

Personal Liaison to Kaalia of the Vast

At 12 life and 20 general damage versus Doran, I tapped out for
![]() ![]() to entwine the game-ending spell for Spearbreaker Behemoth and Vigor( I was playing Stonebrow, Krosan Hero). My brother face-palmed at the setup, then I lol'd when I drew Recollect next turn and picked it back up. Cast it again for Primalcrux + Deus of Calamity.

Juniper Order Ranger + anything with Persist. This only works if you have a sac outlet. I suggest Woodfall Primus btw.

well, if you have a sack outlet in play (I recommend Greater good), you could always just get Yosei and Saffi. Sac Saffi, to bring back the Yosei..... this will likely win you the game 9 times out of 10.
