This is my turn-to deck since my Rafiq deck was deemed too quick and harsh for my current playgroup. I've had a blast playing this deck in testing and the one game I got in before leaving the shop. It's a hardcore group hug with a few non-huggy elements. Here's the list:
Basically there is no win condition, much like every other Phelddagrif deck. I hope to deck someone through tons of draw or maybe get beats in with some of the Hunted creatures or one of the two Hippos.

I might be missing a couple, try mining my list and the others in the database for more suggestions.
Forbidden Orchard was 8 dollars and that woulda put my order over 70$ (which is all I had :P). I plan on getting it later.
I ordered Awakening and Eladamri's Vineyard but the LGS didn't have the one listed that I ordered. They said I'll have them by tomorrow night which is EDH night.

I think it would be fun to pull a switcharoo on your playgroup after they've seen the group-hug deck, you could transform it into this other form and try to win. Then again they probably wouldn't find it very funny to lose to the hippo considering their current attitude.
I don't have 20$ to spit out for a Show and Tell right now. Maybe if this deck pans out and I get paid again. Weird Harvest is a very good card for this and I'll be adding it tomorrow most likely.
I originally wanted to make a deck that was Phelddagrif + Exalted + Equipment, much like Derfington did but... that probably wasn't my best choice as it probably would have just been switching Phelddagrif with Rafiq of the Many in my other deck, lol. Plus, I find this one way more fun.
EDIT: Just saw your edit. Yeah, that probably wouldn't go over so well haha.

The insidious thing about group hug decks is that presumably your opponents will kill each other and leave you alone. When the table is down to two or three people, you can go in for the kill. It only takes a few cards to make Phelddagrif a credible threat, so they may not see those cards until the very end of the game. Wargate, Stoneforge Mystic and Chord of Calling can all do silly things out of nowhere.
I think player interaction will play a big part in how well the deck goes over with your playgroup. The Hippo himself is very good at garnering goodwill with individuals, as you're giving specific people specific things. You can directly help people who are in tight spots, and they'll remember that. They'll react more positively than global group hug effects.
I have seen a deck very similar to yours that did win by deck its opponents. you haven't lived til your played prosperity to deck everyone and play angel's grace in resp.
Some of you may think that you have made great mistakes in your lives, and perhaps you have. But let me ask you this.... did you ever play strip poker with two fat chicks and win?

Weird Harvest is another nice one.
There is such a thing as a Phelddagrif deck that aims at winning. Someone posted a thread mentioning this article a few months back. Here is the link to the article about the Hungry Hungry Hippo: http://99edhproblems.com/2010/01/08/derfingtons-corner-exalting-the-hippo/
