Hiya, folks, here I am again with some decks I use, these two I present are based in the first DD, with mono G Elves fighting against mono R Goblins, these were built from some cards I'd lying around in my binder and folder, and with some goodies I got later to improve them (Because I actually didn't buy this set, heh...)
The deck works in a quite simple way: Play some elves, get some beaters or spawn some tokens, and start beating face.
The lifegain cards are there because I mostly go multiplayer against two or more opponents, so a few life points always help to hang on a little longer or to fend some counterattacks. Steely Resolve is the most powerful card in the deck, yes, it nullifies Wirewood Lodge, but it also protects all the creatures of the deck against point removal until they draw a Disenchant, this enchantment always finds a place among my tribal decks if they've got G. I think I should cut one Wellwisher to keep the deck at 60 cards
This deck may look hideous with so many singles, but for me, it's really fun to play it, because sometimes my opponents just don't know what to expect from the deck, sometimes I can draw artifact destruction, or sometimes I get some beaters. Most of the creatures are disposable, but they can come back later with Living Death (That's why the B is there), Goblin bombardment turns every creature of the deck into Mogg Fanatics and Nevinyrral's Disk takes care when things get out of control. Now that I see it, I think I also need to cut some cards from this deck too to keep it at 60 cards.
