My newest project is redoing the Homelands set with new art and adding a few custom cards of my own to it. Players like myself who used Homelands cards at one point or another groaned for one reason or another, whether it was disappointing artwork, disappointing cards and their abilities/mechanics, or a combination of both.
The sad thing is that Homelands actually had some potential. It had vampires, shades, dwarves, minotaurs, fairies, humans, avatars, and legendary creatures of all shapes, sizes, and races. As we've seen in the Zendikar block alone, vampires can be pretty nasty.
