chain lightning is a sorcery.
Also, its mogg conscripts and goblin cohort? Goblin Matron was a common in Urza's saga. I mean, you don't have the really nice to tutor up goblins but its solid. Also, is this pauper just to say everything is a common? Because chain lightning costs a bit. Also, doesn't pauper allow 4 uncommons? I recommend 4 goblin recruiter since you have a lot of the low cost goblins and I'm guessing the draw and card advantage would be more useful than the removal with card advantage that gempalm incinerator provides or the free goblins off of lackey. |

fistsofthor: Thanks for correcting the mistakes.
I think Goblin Matron may costs to much mana for this deck, but I will definitely be playtesting it as being able to grab Goblin Bushwhacker, who is pretty much the allstar of the deck, would be really nice to be able to do. No, this isn't pauper just to say everything is common. I like to play a lot of different formats so I keep a few pauper decks in case the person I am playing wants to play pauper. And costs doesn't matter in the rules of pauper, if its a common it is legally playable no matter how expensive it is, for example a lot of black pauper decks will play four Sinkhole. And, no pauper doesn't allow you to play 4 uncommons or any uncommons. A pauper deck must be made completely of commons. What your thinking of is Peasant Magic, in Peasant Magic your allowed to have 4 uncommons in your deck, so it is a completely different format. Bone Doc: Thanks, for the link as always. |

As for the deck, I would suggest a creature over Dragon Fodder for Mogg Conscripts and friends.

What, no Goblin Grenade? Come on now. Back in the day, nothing made me scared to face Gobbos more than this. GG, indeed.

The Warden: Good point, that is a really fun card, I am gonna playtest taking out Dragon Fodder for Goblin Grenade.
Also I am seriously wondering how low in land count this deck can go and still operate smoothly, so far 16 is working so great that I think I may take it down again. Anyone have any suggestions on how low I can go. I know I once played a guy in pauper with a red burn / goblin deck with ten lands who beat me like 5 games in a row, so I'd like to if possible do what I can to get the decks land count as low as possible while still keeping it a GOBLIN deck and not a burn deck. Goblin Sledder is usually run in addition to Mogg Conscripts.

This is something of what the deck I talked about earlier that only had 10 lands in it. That deck is pretty much what I am modeling mine on except I am trying to keep mine as close to all goblin as possible.
This is also still a pauper deck, and everything in it has a CMC of one. |

Thats true about Skred. Every single spell in this deck cost exactly one mana, so ideally I never get more than four lands out. Thus the only advantage to Skred is that it is an instant.
That is one problem I am having with Flame Slash, the fact that it is a sorcery does bother me a bit. |
