Yea despite the text on Relentless Rats you can only play one copy of it in your deck as per the EDH deck construction rules, sorry to burst your bubble.

Sorry to burst your bubble there, but Sheldon and the ruling committee already said it was EDH legal. So I think you may want to keep up on reading the main EDH website instead of just MTGS. Kay, thank you, goodbye.

With only 24 relentless rats, your ability to thrumming stone them out is pretty bad.
Also, I'd be concerned with your general. Giving your opponents tutors into cards that can counteract rats (like Humility) can be pretty bad.
I've thought that through, but with how fast I can skim the deck down with all the tutoring I may get it to work. Also, no one in my play group plays humility, so I'm not too worried.

Thank you for being condescending to me because I haven't kept up on a ruling that was fairly recent for an awful card that no matter how many copies you play won't be that good.

First of all, you have the wrong general. You meant to play Marrow-Gnawer
Here's an old thread about the perils of a rats deck. There look to be two problems
1) When you optimize it, it plays the same way every time. Thrumming Stone into a billion rats, swing.
2) One well-timed wrath can leave you screwed (Granted, there are a few cards that help out like Living End and its cousin that lets everyone name a creature type, etc. Also Caludron of Souls. What I'm saying is, pick up some good Wrath insurance)
24 rats wouldn't be enough either- you'd need way more.
So look out for these pitfalls and you should have a good time. Hope you don't get bored of it too fast.
Desperate research is ok for rat decks, you'll usually hit about 3 for 2 mana.
Mass reanimation is a good idea for when your rat army gets wrathed, twilight's call is fun, you can pop it at the end of someone's turn for a surprise.
