So, what's happening to her? You tell us. It's time to submit mechanics.
Keep in mind the following:
- It's an instant
- Your mechanic can come from any colour(s). What matters is that it fits the art.
- Please refrain from using abilities being introduced in Scars of Mirrodin, such as Infect, metalcraft, etc.
- If you need help with the wording, you can look at existing cards or ask for help.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
exile target creature, then put a 0/* Tree creature onto the battlefield under control of that creature's controller with Defender and "this creature's toughness is equal to the first creature's combined power and toughness" (probably worded wrong)
if the kicker cost was paid, gain life equal to the first creature's toughness.

"May your Shadow bring death to all who stand before you." - Doug Beyer
"Destroy target creature. Its controller puts the top X cards from his or her library onto his or her graveyard, where X is that creature's toughness."
Actually, this fits better the art: that girl is calling for help, trying to NOT being sucked into that stone/city or being falling, or being morphed... or whatever is happening there.
"Target creature you control gains protection from everything you don't control until end of turn. Draw a card."
I was going to be just "protection from everything", but the I thought of it working with your Auras and Equipment. The cantrip could be omitted if the CC is going to be just one mana, maybe...
If you would be reduced to 0 or less life, you may cast ~ without paying it's mana cost.
As an additional cost to cast ~, sacrifice three lands you control.
Your life total becomes 10.
*Note: I'd rather see your life total become 20, but balancing issues may arise. Feel free to adjust the life total or amount of lands sacrificed.
*Note2: A bit early, but I'd see this called "Final Plea" and cost some combination of W or G.

"Here only miracles. Here, only the rising of spirit. And yes, love if it was pertinent (which it was so often); and sometimes bloodletting. But never the prosaic, never the trivial. Here the man who brought the strangest tale was the most welcome. Here every excess was celebrated if it brought visions, and every vision analyzed for the hints it held to the nature of the Everlasting." - Clive Barker's Imajica
Inspired by Rimeshade's mechanic, but slightly different:
Target player takes three extra turns after this one, then loses the game.
Alternatively: Target opponent takes three extra turns after this one, then loses the game.
Hmm though both those effects feel like they would be a sorcery rather than instant.
How about this then:
Target player skips his or her next phase. (The phases are beginning phase, precombat main phase, attack phase, postcombat main phase and ending phase).
Yeah, I'm not feeling the whole "tree" thing. The woman is being dragged down towards a mountain in the middle of a city, not a tree stump. The art is more abstract, really, unless she's really falling from that high above the ground. I'm really disappointed that this art was chosen, the presence of modern buildings just kills it for me as Magic art.
"Return target permanent to its owner's hand. That player puts the top X cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard, where X is that permanent's converted mana cost."
Target player skips his or her next phase. (The phases are beginning phase, precombat main phase, attack phase, postcombat main phase and ending phase).
So what if you don't get an 'ending phase'? The game crashes?

Yeah, you're right, it is a mountain. According to the artist, the figure is "standing on a very high peak surrounded by civilisation. It's symbolic of how people might stand as high as possible on their world, looking up into the heavens wishing to journey further."
With that flavor in mind, here's my idea.
"Name a card. Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal the named card, then put that card into your hand. Exile all other cards revealed this way, and you gain 1 life for each of the exiled cards."
Exile target creature, then reveal cards from your library until you reveal a creature. Put that creature onto the battlefield and put all other revealed cards at the bottom of your library in any order.

"Those who endure in the face of suffering, those whose faith shines long in evil days, they shall see salvation." -Song of All, canto 904
So what if you don't get an 'ending phase'? The game crashes?
End of turn effects and damage don't wear off until the end of the next turn, and you don't have to discard down to your maximum hand size until the end of your next turn.
Remove target player from the game until end of turn. (That player can't make decisions, be targeted, control cards, gain life, lose life, or lose the game this turn. All cards that player owns on the stack are exiled. All other cards that player owns remain as they are.)

Exile Limit - ~ deals 5 damage to that creature or player instead if you own five or more exiled cards.

Or
Destroy target nonblack creature, then exile a nonblack creature card from a graveyard.
