I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
Ehhhh I don't know. I didn't play any of the charms in Mirrodin, Magic 2010 or Magic 2011. I guess with the amount of artifacts there's a high chance both of you will make the golem react heart no matter your deck.
Still. never pick this high.

Some kind of witty comment should be here.
I'm sure you can think of something by yourself.
That is so awesome that Luminum's card got printed! Congrats Luminum! As for the card, it will see as much play as the others do... limited to sideboard slots when needed, otherwise ignored in T2 and limited.
It's good in that Soul Warden kind of way (in limited). Plop this down turn 2, and watch your opponent cringe as he refuses to Shatter this and you gain your 10 life off of it over a game.
Awesome art, and wasn't expecting this, pretty well done overall
The difference is soul warden could attack and block as well as trade with x/1s.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
Not a bad card. The flavor text catches my eye, and the art is nice as well.

This is borderline playable in limited. I wouldn't want to play this, but it may be possible that I build a metalcraft deck and need another artifact to fill it out. Paying two mana for something that will eventually gain me 6+ life isn't too bad if it will trigger metalcraft.

To be fair, this card was the most obvious design in the world. Even the name, apparently!
And it doesn't even suck as much as the other lucky charms, even if only slightly.
Everyone is going to pooh-pooh this until they see a shlub wreck them with multiples in SCAR Drafting. Then people will start picking it up earlier. I predict you'll never see this as a last pick. Solid pick in the this format!
Atobe, I think you're right, this is deceptively good in limited. Gaining life off of your creatures and your opponents creatures can net you a lot of life. Combine this with any number of myr shenanigans, and you have a decent synergy.

So is Soul Sisters.

This isn't good for myr decks because the 2 cmc slot is already crammed right full.
And soul sisters won't because it relies on the opponent playing artifacts.

I agree. Absolutely beautiful. Matt Cavotta just rocked my socks off.

(Awesome art, really.)
lol just wait they need one now that is "whenever a player casts a multicolor spell"
just to make everyone go
"srsly guys? I thought you were done wit this crap...."
With everyone playing artifacts in scars this may have a place as a stall card for slower limited decks.
